I prefer smaller films as well, and I think Cillian did some excellent work in small movies when he was a kid, he was even in How Harry Became a Tree, which is a little masterpiece. Sunburn - however - held very little interest for me. Maybe because I watched it some 15 years too late, maybe because - even at that age - I never had the dream of fleeing to America to become a beach bum. Of course I still think a smaller movie, however flawed, is way better than a trashy blockbuster, but Sunburn wasn't really my cup of tea.
