Rukia, while I was watching Sherlock Holmes I was thinking that Cillian should have played Watson. I adore Jude Law, possibly my second fav living actor, but Cillian would have made cake in that roll! Alex Etel is a cutie! I have a 6 year old daughter that is single at the moment (at least she was a few days ago). A family film would be fun...Alex as the son, Diane Kruger as the sister, Sissy Spacek as the mother...heck...throw in Harrison Ford as the father...that could be a hit!

Kelly Reilly should be his next co-star !! She's beautiful, unique, good actress. Cillian and her would be so hot together

Hum..A Sherlock Holmes? That's not a bad idea.Cillian could be elegant in a Sherlock Holmes film lol Seriously,it'd be another side of his acting,I think it could be interesting yes. With Jude Law by the way.

LBrooke, I could see that matchup with Jude Law! Too bad Robert Downey Jr. already snagged it. I still want to see Cillian in an epic adventure movie! I wonder if there are many scripts like that floating around?

Well,R.Downey Jr is a good match..physically(as Watson) but I think that Cillian would have brought something new and deeper in the character of Watson. Hum,I really see Cillian with Jude Law.Maybe for another movie about the same period. An English production inspired by an interesting book for instance.

For the moment,I have to say that..I dont.Everything seems to have been already done, that's a problem..Maybe they should create another crime film a bit on the example of Sherlock Holmes but revisited.Sounding like 'Midsomer Murders' (which one of my fav series by the way)for instance.but invented,if all novel-inspired films have been already done. But with Jude Law,please!lool! And you,do you have any ideas?

I am full of ideas! Thinking specifically about roles for Cilly and where, it seems, he plans to go from this stage. If he is going to increase in stardom on the US side of the pond, he needs to enlarge his area of expertise into different genres. He should do something fun, that appeals to either the family or classic movie lovers. With this in mind, how about a recreation of Breakfast at Tiffany's? (Yawn..you say) He would make such a good Paul or Fred (take your pick). They would have to write an entire storyline around it to make it interesting, but it would get people into the theatres. His name would be forged into american hearts forever, if it were done right.
I cannot think of anything Sherlock Holmes-esque that deserves the silver screen. I have always wanted a script to be written about Edgar Allan Poe and his neurosis. I don't think that is something for Cilly, especially if he does the Dali film. Tomorrow is another day. Maybe I will come up with something better later.

I would love to see him work with Natalie Portman. Then I could also get my hubby to see the movie no problem. LOL!

Well, it might not qualify exactly as a co-starring moment, but Natalie did shoot him in the back in Cold Mountain. And Jude Law was there to witness it.

Oh yeah I forgot about cold mountain. But it would be better to see them both as main characters. Oh and I really hope that the move with Robert De Niro happens!
