I hope you get a reply on this, ikklehen, because I don't believe anyone is "watching the store" here anymore. Some of us aired some concerns about this several months ago, but the old mods (who are no longer around) are apparently unwilling to give up control of this forum to someone who actually cares about it. It's a shame.

I have notified the forum developers of the violation. Hopefully it will be removed. I cannot say what violation it is as I do not want to draw attention to it.
If there are no moderators active here any more then I had no choice but to contact the developers.

*sigh* Why on earth would a person want to retain sole administrator rights over a community forum she no longer reads or has interest in the subject matter? Such a strange ego control freak problem.
I think a few of the most interested people here should be given moderator status.

I would be happy to take that job if it was offered to me. I've been around for over two years now and check several times a week, so I can be counted on to be consistent, and to keep an eye on things.
But then again, we are dealing with someone's ego and sense of ownership over this forum, and those are pretty significant obstacles.

I agree with you. But who's going to be the moderator? anyway , if no one is encharge of this forum anymore , I think we should start a new one. I'd be great  then we can post here and tell the others about it. |

Hey guys..... ;D I'm glad you all care, you would all make great moderators I'm sure! I know Melty_Girl has a great fan website for Cillian and would ake an excellent moderator :-) But for all it's worth my complaint to Pro-Boards has not tbeen dealt with yet. Sloppy sloppy sloppy! Come on Pro-Boards  What happened to the 48 hours response??? It's been much longer than 48 hours! So.... I have contacted them again. If any of you wish to complain on the lack of moderation, please go to the link at the bottom of the page that says "ProBoards" then click the link that says "Contact" on the new pop-up page and then click the Report TOS Violation. Choose "other violation" and just describe the problem we have here. Don't worry about filling in the URLS... just the main homepage of this forum URL will do. Maybe we should all get together and complain to Pro-Boards what the problem is. Whaddyathink? |

But since my job situation has changed, I haven't had as much time for fangirling. I would be happy to co-administer or co-moderate here though. But it's highly doubtful that Shannon would ever consent to me being involved in running this forum. Perhaps there are other candidates that she doesn't have any history with... it's looking very doubtful though that she'll agree to any change. Even though she only looks in on this forum once a year or so! Just be aware that no one else can change the administrator or moderators of this forum except Shannon, because she's the sole administrator. ProBoards will not appoint someone else. I think all they can do is assist an adminstrator or shut down the forum. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that's the case. |
