Great news! Thanks for the info.... at least it sounds like this project is a go at least at this point. Sounds like a very interesting story line! I will have to read the book. I'm sure I'll have plenty of time before the movie comes out!

Wow, had no idea before Brendan Gleeson did any kind of directing. Though did know he used to be a teacher before he got into acting. Agreeing with Larva that the project sounds really interesting.

Thanks for the update. I guess there's more chance of it going through now. Cillian's no longer 'rumored' for the role on IMDB. The article didn't mention JRM. Does he still have a part in it? It says so on IMDB.

So this is what's next for Cillian? Don't get me wrong; I'm glad he's doing another movie, but I was hoping for something more accessible and mainstream. He hasn't done a mainstream movie in a while. I'm all for indies, but I don't think this movie will connect with a wider audience. I wish it the best anyway. I'll probably read the book sometime, but it's not the usual book I would choose to read for myself. Is it any good?
