So has anyone seen this visually amzing roller-coaster of a film? I went to see it last night and wasn't sure what to expect because it had a great cast and a weird plot that appealed to me but was getting middle of the road reviews by most poeple. But i gotta say i loved it. The story is a bit muddled and confusing at times but the performances are brilliant- especially Ledger, Plummer, Waits and Farrell. Lots of poeple were saying Depp was the best but he was only in one scene and it wasn't very long. Granted he was great as always but i think people just feel they have to heap praise on him since he did Pirates. I'm a huge Johnny fan so i don't mind at all but his best films were What's Eating Gilbert Grape?, Blow, Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and Chocolate Factory and Benny and Joon in my opinion. Of course Captain Jack was a stroke of pure genius too. Anyway i'm getting sidetracked. Back to The Imaginarium. Overall i really enjoyed it- i love fantasy and the scenes inside the mirror were stunning and so beautiful and fun to watch. Nobody seems to have really mentioned Heath's performance but i thought he was so captivating and just brilliant as always. His entrance into the film was a shock, i didn't know about it and nearly ended up crying. I also kept getting depressed everytime i realised that this was going to be the last time i'd watch a new role from him and i'd never see him in the cinema again. But he gave it his all and it shows. I would go see it again. Definitely. Anybody else have any thoughts on it?

Ah, lucky girl!! I don't think the movie has been released in the States yet? But I cannot wait to see this. The trailer for it was great. Heath is one of my favorite actors, and I love fantasy movies so I think I'll like this quite a bit. Good to hear you liked it!

I wanted to see this especally when I saw Johnny Depp was in it. Didn't he play a part that Heath Ledger was gonna do or something? Anyway I think it's playing now in one of the theatre's downtown that's how I rememberd it.

Yeah Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law play different versions of Heath's character when he travels through Parnasus' mirror. All the performances are brilliant- in particular Heath and Johnny and Colin- for me anyway. It is a tad too crazy and bit hard to follow at times but still really enjoyable and visually quite amazing. You should check it out.

I saw this one of the first days it came out. It was hard for me to find a theater around here that screened it, but I finally did. It was more than what I'd hoped for. Such stunning visuals, great acting, and nice story! I really hope to see it again soon since it came out on dvd. It's hard to wrap your mind around the entire movie the first time you see it. It would be a treasure to own Heath's last film. And of course I try to collect many JD movies, even if he's in it for like 10 minutes.
