Actually Ashley Rose I think I jumped to slightly incorrect conclusions before. Sorry for the mistake! Been hunting around a bit more via google since that last post and came across some contradictory information. While that was definitely being hinted at around 2008/2009 I get the idea all it turned out to be was an unfounded rumour in the end.  Still will just say here, that I personally think Johnny would've been a great choice. I've never seen him play a villian yet - but am sure he could easily pull a part like that off! Still, as things are, think I'm definitely rooting for Joseph too at this stage! |

I have it as my desktop background now too. ;D I remember the rumours of Johnny Depp playing the Riddler too. Being a long time fan of his i was hoping he wouldn't do it. To be honest i didn't really think he would, it doesn't really seem like his thing. Maybe if it was back when his partner in crime, Mr Burton, was directing he would've done it. Have you seen Secret Window, Emma? Or Sweeney Todd? The Astronaut's Wife.... |

That's ok emma!  Plus I would much rather have Joseph play the part anyway. And yes you should see those movies razz listed. Sweeney Todd is very good and I personally love Secret Window even though I've heard some people don't like it. |

Me too.  He just looks perfect for that type of role. He kinda fits the Riddler cos he's not physically imposing or anything. And i have complete faith that he could pull off the Riddler's weirdness. |

I do too. I mean I've never seen him play anything but a nice guy but I just feel like he would be an amazing Riddler!

You should see Manic. He's not a bad guy in it but he's got a lot of anger in it and he's brilliant. Zooey Deschanel is in it too. As for Cillian in Batman 3, i'd love to see it happen too but if he was to be a part of it, i'd want him to be the main and only villian. None of the tiny roles or the having two villians in one movie. I don't really like that. He should take center stage if he's going to participate. |

Yeah I know what you mean, having more then one villain in a movie is sometimes hard to pull off I think. Plus it would mean less screen time for Cillian. |

But yes I've seen that one. Have had it on dvd for a good while but it's been a very long time since I last watched it. I guess I never thought of the character as being strictly a villain - but thinking further about it I guess that could easily be classified as one. It's a good movie from what I remember! Must check it out again. I've not seen the other two though....will definitely find out more on those. Also welcome Mari! Hope you enjoy your stay here. Back on topic: I've got a feeling Joseph is the most likely out of all three of those guys to be picked too! Though I don't know super much about him...strikes me he'd be the best fit somehow! |

David tennant is also being considered for the riddler =D. This will be great if the riddler is Joseph or David.
