Hello anybody, everybody! I am Arlette, more common under the name pig, on school and other things. Well that's not an accusation of me being fat or something, the real Cillian fan should know where it comes from  I was surprised the name wasn't taken yet! Well I am currently 15 years old, living in the Netherlands. I am fluent in Dutch, English and Irish and hopefully soon in Spanish. I am a huge fan of Salvador Dalí, but even more of Cillian Murphy. I saw... really every movie except for Sunburn for it's really hard to get here in NL, or download. I searched for a forum for ages and now I finally found one! I guess I can call myself a real fan, for once. The things I like about Cillian are his... ability to crawl in every role he takes. He can give me the creeps and make me feel compassion at the same time (Think of Jackson Rippner in Red Eye), or just make me crying my eyes out (Flipping out scene in The Edge Of Love). And sometimes he's just so terribly stunning and completly brilliant I forget to breathe (breakfast on pluto). But... above all I have a weak for the movie/play Disco Pigs. I managed to download the movie and I am still searchin for the play somewhere, desperate.. I do have the script. Oh, not to mention his blue eyes(A) |

Hey welcome to the forum Arlette.  Good to have you here. Oh and i think Sunburn was on youtube, at least it was a few months ago. EDIT: Yep here's the link to the first part. I know it's not the ideal way to see his films but with Sunburn it's so hard to find otherwise- which is a shame cos it's a really great movie. Ghehe yes, I started learning it about a year ago after seeing Disco Pigs, cause I wished to read the original script in Irish and well... It went great^^ I love those languages really. Although I'm pnly a fourth year student here I did an early exam english and ended with an A^^ got me really happy!
So much thanks for the link! I'm gonna watch right away!

And congrats for that A n.n and I admire that good motive of yours to learn a language that's so cool, so have a CB from me! btw, I hope you guys don't throw me out of here for this, but to be honest, I didn't know Disco Pigs' original script was in Irish! Whaha well it's written by enda welsh, and at least my version is irish and i think it's the original for enda was an irish writer^^ but don't get thrown out cause of me cause I can be mistaken as well.. =D

No, no, it makes sense. It would be so cool if it is in irish; I made a quick search to see if I could find something about the script written in irish, couldn't find much, as usual.. ¬¬
but i think that indeed, you have the original version!
Btw, as a coincidence I just got my Disco Pigs dvd ;D .. again. I already had it but it was taken away from me in a robbery at my house a few years back.. :/
I had to have it no matter what xD

I do not have it, getting it around here in the Netherlands is like...really hard. Like most of the movies. Luckily I could download it, and rent it. I do have sunshine and all. I like sunshine as well though =D

No kidding! getting HIS movies over here is hard as well, I had to order a few of them, they took a long time to arrive here... I loathe that kind of "distribution" and so.. I loved Cillian in Sunshine!, Capa can make light and stars outta nothing and all! do I have to say more? ;D Hehe, I like those pics of him, I found them so cute  |

Well, it's like... I'm totally into those Irish movies, I totally love Ireland anyway for who didn't saw it yet^^ But it's so hard.. I always try to get them from the movie rental but it's just no doing.. it was ME who got breakfast on pluto into the rental here. Cause I begged(A)
What's the worst thing, I am 15 years old and I really have almost no one to talk with About most of Cillian's movies, for all my classmates got stuck with Dear John and Mean Girls, reading Bouquet-books... it's exhausting. They find movies like Disco pigs/Breakfast on pluto only "weird" and "Grose" without seeing the true value, that those are little masterpieces.
