^We did Mokey, thanks.  Today i'm happy because the Queen's visit is going smoothly so far. When i watched her lay the wreath in the garden of remembrance for all the Irish people who died fighting against the British, i felt myself getting all emotional. I wasn't expecting it to happen but it was a pretty special moment. Its a great step for the British and Irish. Just hope all these republican groups that are protesting and causing all the false alarms will move on and stop living in the past. The Queen herself is not responsible for any of the stuff that happened in 1916, during the War of Independence. Grudges do nobody any good. Hoping my day in Dublin goes okay tomorrow and that there isn't too much disruption. And in Cork the following day. ;D |

Okay, well, this is on the flip side now...but, I took all my nervous energy, tossed it out the window as best as I could, and...I tried to draw something! I drew an eye of ALL things (am I crazy!?), which I'm pretty sure are quite tricky to draw realistically, at least. Mine isn't realistic, but for the first eye I've ever drawn, I guess I'm happy about it. I used a plain old no. 2 pencil...a very dull one, because I couldn't find a sharpener. *grumbles* It's not very good, and probably terribly out of proportion, but I'm going to keep going! ;D Attachments:

That is a very good job for your first eye. I like your style...I'm getting kind of a Art Deco vibe from it which is one my favorite styles of art. You will have no problems Cait, so don't worry, and please don't give up. Have a CB!

Right now am happy that it finally seems to be cooling down where I am here! Not much of a fan of Summer weather - especially when it's hot and humid like it's been here for some of this week!

I'm going on vacation starting this coming Wednesday! I'm going to Niagara Falls, in Ontario, spending a whole week there. I haven't travelled in a really long time, so I'm VERY excited. ;D Zombie, I love William's hair! *swoons* Does your boyfriend know he has the same hairstyle?
