New here and have been lurking for a very long time. My husband works in the film industry - and he would FREAK if he knew I was posting filming info on a fan board - especially a Cilly one since he doesn't like his competition (LOL). Anyway, I've been checking and asking, and asking and asking (You get the idea) but I don't think Red Lights is filming here (Toronto). It's not on any of the production lists, and with heavyweights like Cillian, and DeNiro, everyone would be talking about it.
Not sure what I'd do if it was filming here aside from pass out. I'm sure hubby would know someone working on it, or better, he would actually be on the show.....dear lord he'd bar me from the set.
Again, ladies, I'd post more and get to know you all better but please understand I'm reluctant as my husband is extremely private (in that way reminds me of Cillian - and both Irish and so cute!) Anyway, will post again if I hear any Toronto news. Cheers, and thanks for all the great laughs. You guys are the best fans!! So respectful and enthusiastic. I've loved Cillian's work for so long now and visit here often.

Hi Petiteboo. Welcome to the forum. Hopefully you'll be able to find time to post more often, but I understand how that goes with the husband /boyfriend issue. I feel that sometimes I'm committing a crime when I post here, lol. It's so dumb though. I mean maybe this isn't the case for you or any of you, but it's ok for the men to have pictures of half naked women on bikes and cars, or drool over women in movies and even those other certain type of movies(you know what I mean), and it's like I'm not allowed to admire one talented beautiful actor. That doesnt seem fair. A lot of times its not even Cillian that brings me to this forum everyday. It's mostly the members. I like what they have to say, and they all are very nice and sweet:) Never have I experienced anyone acting nasty and hostile. That's usually the case with most other forums that I have joined in the past. This is the only forum I belong to right now. Red Lights-I have no idea what's really going on either. I wish I knew more:( Not even sure how long they are staying in Barcelona to film this movie. I'm hoping they will be in Toronto, or at least somewhere around there, but it isn't like I can make it up there or anything. Cillian has a lot of Canadian fans so maybe, hopefully, somebody could get a little peek and share their "close encounter" story  |

Hi gals, Still no word on Red Lights filming here. I think hubby's getting sick of me hounding him for info. To make it up I've added this photo which my girlfriend took at TIFF. I think it was the year he brought WTSTB. All his films have premiered up the street from my work and I've stupidly never gone over for a peak (long story). I request TIFF tickets every year (I also work in film/television) for his films but it's never panned out.  Anyway, my girlfriend took several shots but they're all from this angle. She was inside while he was outside in the press area. She knows how much I adore him - we saw 28 Days Later together when I first noticed him - so she made sure to get SOMETHING even if it was his back. And she's not a fan - can you believe the absurdity in that?! lol Attachments:

Thanks for the link, Pisces! (I'm Piscean, too, by the way. ) I'm really excited about this movie because I've loved Robert De Niro ever since I was a kid. I grew up with an uncle who watched his gangster movies, but it was his performance in "Awakenings" that really made me admire him as an actor. I can't wait to watch this movie on the big screen. Seeing Robert and Cillian appear in the same scene would be magic! |

Just speculating, but maybe they are keeping it quiet, to prevent the press from latching onto the production too soon. I think I read somewhere that they wanted to film in Toronto to capture the different 'cities' that would be in the movie and Barcelona wouldn't provide that. |
