*sigh* I guess I have to face the fact that I'm among those who won't be able to see Red Lights in cinema... No cinema in my periphery is showing it at the moment... sh*t !!!

Yey! Polaris! I'm glad you saw Red Lights! What do you think of the cast and the direction? I thought Cillian's & Sigourney's chemistry was awesome! ;D

I got an email from my local movie theater saying they won't be showing Red Lights at all. I sent enquiries to three theaters within 120km. If none of them will be showing it, I'll have to wait for the dvd/blu-ray release too. I'm on the mailing list of two retailer's, but no release date yet. Does anyone know when will it be in Scandinavia or UK? Edit: Please ignore my stupid question. I noticed from my page history I had a silly typo in my search. ;D Now I know it's October 22nd.

Awww Alisa that's really poo that it's not being released in your cinemas. So you have to wait 8 weeks for the DVD! Counting down the days!

I haven't entirely given up hope, but it's really starting to seem bad. If any of those three movie theaters I emailed will show it, I'll go. I drove 90km and back to see Hesher and I'm definitely willing to do the same for Red Lights, I'm that much of a film freak. But yeah, none of them have it it listed in the upcoming movies and the Finnish release date was supposed to be September 28th, so very little hope for me.
Hyacinth Girl was right about this one and I was so wrong. It was sold to many countries, but many of them seem to have limited theatrical release.

Hello ladies and gens if there are any of you out there! ;D I know it has been forever since I have been around here! Life has been busy but really is on a GREAT track right now. The stuff that was going on in my life has cleared up. But any way. I thought of you all with Red Lights! Let me tell you of my SAD Red Lights story. So as we all know this movie is so hard to find in theaters and like all of you I have been scouring through all the local theaters to find it. I had pretty much given up but was on Fandango one Tuesday and looked again. There is was playing right buy my house like 3 miles away in a mall theater of all places. In disbelief I called the theater to make sure. I talked to one of the employees and he told me that yes they had it they just got it and it would be there for the weekend. I knew that I would not be able to see it until the weekend when my hubby could get rid of the kiddo and have a date night. (Yes I even convinced the hubby to see a CILLIAN movie on date night. What a good man. ;D) So we planned for the kiddo to go to the grandparents on Friday night it was all set. Thursday night still not believing that it was at the theater I checked Fandango again and it was gone. Once again I called the theater talked to an employee and was told sure enough come Friday it was GONE!! I could not believe it. He told me that the movie was doing NO business and that they were taking it out to put in something that would. I was totally crushed. So I guess I will also be waiting for it to come out on DVD. I still continue to look though and see if it is playing anywhere. What a bummer!

Ouch! You were so close... That's like telling a child Christmas is cancelled. I hope you'll find a theater that will be playing it. I don't know which country you're from, but people in US have to wait for the dvd/blu-ray for 37 days and European people for 57 days.

Sorry to hear that Alisa and Mokey!
I'm pissed at the man who emailed me back from the local movie theatre saying they were definitely showing it... they are not... That is just so unprofessional.

Mokeyyyyyyyyyyyy !!! Squeeeeeee!!! So glad to have you back!! *Welcomes you with a warm hug* But what a terribly sad Red Lights story... And you were even looking forward to it because you thought they would acutally show it! Poor you.. How cruel and frustrating. For me, there is just one chance to go see it in cinema: A town about an hour of driving away from my town. It depends on my boyfriend if I can go see it because I can't drive...

Oh thanks Zombie! I can say I have really missed this place for sure! A big warm hug right back at you! Hopefully I will be back on here a little more often. I missed you guys. I never stopped thinking of you all. So sad to hear about every one having problems seeing this movie! Wish there was more marketing on this movie and maybe it would be a bit easier to see in a theater!
