Hope its OK to post links here, i just wanted to share this vid of this guy on X Factor who blows me away with his heartfelt singing. I dont normally like talent shows but i love this guy! Jeff Buckley is, in my opinion, the most stunning singer. He has the voice of an angel. His version of Hallelujah is my favourite song ever. And Lover, You Should've Come Over is also in my top 5.
Other male singers i love would be:
~Ryan Adams ~Bruce Springsteen ~Kurt Cobain ~Foy Vance ~Matt Bellamy ~Dan Auerbach from the Black Keys ~Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam ~Ben Ottewell from Gomez ~Chris Turpin from Kill It Kid ~Jimi Hendrix ~Rufus Wainwright
I'm sure there's loads more i can't think of right now. Oh and that boy Robert Pattinson can sing! I love his song Stray Dog and To Roam.

For me, no one tops Ville Valo. Jared Leto comes close when it comes to hackle-raising screams, but as far as range and sheer variety of songs go, it's Valo all the way. He rarely sounds the same in any two songs, yet always retains that honeyed silkiness to his voice that haunts me so effortlessly. No singer, male or female, has ever so precisely hit my auditory g-spot... ahem. So gifted with the complete spectrum of the vocal palette, from his chill-inducing screamworks to the most gentle of crooning caresses - this man truly makes love to you sonically. His speaking voice is just as mesmerizing, and the yet more incredible thing about that is that he actually has something to say. He has given, hands down, the best interviews I have ever had the pleasure of watching/listening to. Ville is an unusually thoughtful, reflective breed of man... the sort I only wish there were more of. Incredibly open and unafraid to express what he thinks and feels, and to ramble along wherever his thought train may take him. It's a fearlessness in him. I like that. And it doesn't hurt that he looks like this....

For me, my top guys are... Telle Smith of The Word Alive In between him being able to scream like no one's business while also having a sweet melodic tune, Telle's songwriting is just so relateable, and he just can sing those lyrics with a real heart. It also doesn't hurt he's cute, and a really down-to-earth sweetheart too. Oli Sykes of Bring Me the Horizon Just the most raw, hard-hitting screams I've personally heard coming out of a guy so adorably cute (my dad thought Oli was a girl when he first saw the band). But aside from screaming like crazy, he also has a great expression for some very vulnerable songs such as "Don't Go", "It Never Ends" and "Tell Slater Not to Wash His d*¢k". Kyo of Dir en Grey For many of the same reasons as Oli Sykes, Kyo has an amazing vocal range, going from soft and vulnerable to crazy screaming in the space of a couple seconds. GacktJust listen to him and you'll see why I love him. He can do rock and soft, chilled out songs. That deep voice really hit my audio g-spot at 14, and I still love him 7 years later. Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails Don't need to explain this, right? He could sing the Barney theme song in Pig Latin and I'd love every second of it.
