Nobody should be worried about their English skills in posting. I'm sure no-one here will judge you on whether you express things perfectly or use the wrong word once in a while or spell something wrong. When it comes to Cillian i'm sure we'll get what you mean.  And we're all here for the same reason- to discuss his work, so please don't be worried if English isn't your first language. I'd love to be able to speak a second language! |

You want to learn another language? Watch foreign movies, Razz. A lot of them. I can say without a doubt that Johnny Depp and Cillian Murphy were the best english teachers I've ever had.  |

Thanks Jinx. I do watch some foreign movies- but with the subtitles all the time.  I always enjoyed French in school and i did well in my final exam, so recently while i was watching Lie to Me i put on the French subtitles. And i bought La Haine, Paris and Amelie on DVD a few weeks ago, but i haven't watched any of them yet. I've been thinking about going back to college to study French in the autumn- haven't definitely decided yet though. I'd be more than happy if you had any French movie recommendations. Oh, and seen as you said Johnny and Cillian helped you learn English, i do like Vincent Cassel and Gaspard Ulliel, if you know any good films they're in! ;D |

I'm not a huge fan of Vincent Cassel, but you definitely have to watch Amélie! If you like it, then I recommend "Un Long Dimanche de Fiançailles" (it was The first Time I saw Ulliel in a movie and I really enjoyed it). I don't watch a lot of french movies, by The way... So maybe I'm not The best qualified person here to give you advices...

It's only a month that I'm on this forum but I can say that I'm proud to be part of it! The atmosphere is very good here!
In this forum I have a place to discuss all about my loved Cillian, share my ideas with other fans, find out all the news, forget about my shiness (It's more easy to write than to talk face to face) and, of course, practice my poor English!!!
Talking about the members that stop posting ... I can understand this behavior cause I myself have done it for long periods of time in other forums... dunno why...

I've noticed this too. I do agree that it is disappointing we don't have more active members right now.  Though for me personally quality is alot more important than quantity when it comes to choosing site forums to regularly post on which is why I'm still here!  Though I'd say when it comes to the regular posters here we're a fairly small community, I'd rather a fairly small community of friendly, decent and intelligent posters than a really active forum of which the community majority consists of online unpleasant bully types any day! Which is also something I've come across on other sites, so can totally relate to what's previously been said in here on that. |

I must confess that I lurk here a lot, even when I became a member already. There are just times that I want to catch up on Cillian news, so I just lurk without logging on, since I can't stay online for long. LOL! I agree with everything you guys said, though...it's great to be part of this forum. The people are nice, helpful and friendly. ;D |

Forum has been slower than usual. Honestly I would never want this forum to be crazy with high traffic, but it would be nice to read at least 30-50 new post per day.

I have to say its great to see an old member coming back to post. Glad you decided to return Ikklehen. I miss the users who were really active when i first joined here, like Kaatop, Bookworm and the others. Maybe they'll also make a surprise return someday soon. |
