For all of the German, Swiss or Austrian fans around here (or just everyone who speaks german  ) a little sweet surprise: They will show "Sunburn" on the German TV Channel PRO 7 on January the 22th, 4:20 (in the morning) Almost fell of my chair as I saw this!! Couldnt believe my eyes!! A rather rare CM Film!! On this channell ??!!! Wow... This means: Cillian dubbed!  Well I am familiar with this... but... it's still kind of odd. Never dreamt Sunburn will ever been dubbed... However. I am very looking forward to this date. ;D |

Wow that is pretty cool! I wish the would play it somewhere on American TV. You will have to tell us what you think after you watch it.

Your welcome, and thanks for the CB!!  Just realised today, that Saturday 22. January 4.20 in the morning means: Friday night!!!  Or am I thinking the wrong way?? *confused* I am so stupid... Was thinking about Saturday night all the time. Wahh! Dont wanna miss it. |

So, I watched Sunburn!! ;D ;D ;D Gosh, I was SO happy about that movie been shown on a German TV channel!!! And so exited of watching it. And what shall I say? I really liked it! It was a nice little movie about young people finding their way in life. And young little Cillian was so f*cking sweet!  Ohh... what a nice body he has. But I don't want to just mention the "visual effects" XD. I also liked Cillians great and enjoyable performance and the character he played. Davin (is this correct?), this kid who runs from his old, f*cked up life to start a new one, not realizing he's going to mess up the new one like the old... But then finds love and even takes responsibility for his life, "grows up" as to say. Hmmm... I do think its a movie about growing up. (Correct my if I got it wrong! ) I really, really liked it and the video tape has now his own place among my other Cillian films. ;D And now I finally know, where Mitzis avatar is from!!! ;D ;D Next TV-Cillian-event: "Girl with pearl earring" will be shown on Swiss TV Channel SF2, Saturday 22.20, January 29th AND Sunday night at 2.20 What a happy girl I am!!! |

NEWS!!Who ever is German speaking and missed the last showing of Sunburn on TV (the cause of starting this thread ;D) here some good news: They show it again! Uh oh... I see, that it's this Saturday !!! 26.3. !!! 3.35 in the morning (odd time...) on the Channel Pro 7@iseebutterfly!! I know you are German! Will you watch it? within: Did you actually watched it last time??

I had a great surprise today when I found this dvd on a spanish store!! So I bought it without hesitation!
In my opinion this film is just ok, I mean, the plot is pretty simple, nothing fancy, but Cillian is adorable in it and his talent is quite visible!
I was delighted to see him so young (specially in the scenes with the swimsuit) =P
