Liam Neeson is also a fine actor, I've always liked him, but I really hope Cillian wins (obviously!).

Oh yay, I love Cillian's getting great attention from the academies. I do hope stuff like the Golden Globes and Oscars start taking notice of him again for Inception.

Great that he's nominated for this =)
I wish it was possible to bring more attention to his performance in Peac*ck. Its straight-to-DVD status makes that difficult I guess... still, it was very heartening to know that Barry Mendes (director) praised him so highly for it and said he'd do what he could to at least make others aware of it.

Unfortunately Cillian didn't win either catergory. He lost out to Pierce Brosnan for 'The Ghost' in the supporting actor role. And to Martin McCann for 'Swansong' in the lead actor role.
