yeah, flying sucks so bad...wish I could go but it's too expensive/have work/have to go to school...I would really like to see it though

Just made up my mind and got everything sorted. So, i’ll be there as well! It’s my very first time travelling to Ireland. Gonna be quite adventures and interesting, me guess. Any special customs i should pay close attention to? Can’t wait, already darn excited! ;D Being in the same venue with Mr. Murphy  and maybe luckily get pretty close. Who knows… Well tbh i’m not sure how it will be there, seating or standing location, capacity?? Hmm, not to sure about the tickets tho, as a foreign customer my only order option was, pick up at the venue box office when doors opening. Never done something like this before, so i’ll hope it’ll work out… Tho, can’t imagine a box office at a Christchurch lol. Anyone knows when the doors will open? Grrrr, hate it, if i don't have the tickets in my hand...  Understand me?  |

How awesome that you are going Within!!! I know what you mean about wanting those tickets in your hand, but it must be even more stressful because you're thinking "what if I spent all this money on travel and something gets messed up with these tickets" As long as you have some kind of order confirmation number or receipt you should be ok. Hope you have fun. Like I told Razz...I want details!

Drinks are on me! ;D (Confession time: I booked my ticket the day they went on sale, and confirmed my travel itinerary and hotel a week after that. But I wanted to wait to make sure my passport renewed without a hitch before saying anything. Yep: those nasty superstitions again...!  ) |

Hiya all and greets from Finland! This is my first post here, but I'm a Cillian fan back from 2005/2006 (after seeing Red Eye...). I've been reading this board secretly for a while, but now I just had to register and join you, hope you don't mind! Saw this topic about Cillians public interview and I apparently lost the last bits of my mind as I'm just about to book my flights to Cork and attend  So, any hints or tips for me? Never been to Ireland before and I feel like I'm starting from complete zero when it comes to booking accommodation and such. Flights are luckily all sorted out, just need to book the actual interview-tickets too. Wooohooo I'm so excited!!!! Jenni |

Sooo happy for all of you that are going, and jealous too! I really think I was born in the wrong part of the world! I intend to live in Europe...Ireland, no doubt. That way I won't miss out on opportunities such as these. If only money wasn't always an issue!

It's nice to hear a few other people are going to be going to this too. Maybe i'll see some of you there. As for hints and tips, i know i'm Irish, but i really can't think of any words of wisdom to give ye! Only, don't look for leprechauns like Justin Bieber apparently did when he was here. They're a myth, a legend, made up, not real! And remember Irish people slag a lot, it's just our sense of humour. Some people may find it hard to get used to, or hard to know when we're being serious or not. |

Yeah, a trip like this is beyond my means, sadly. But if I was going, I think I would actually be more excited about meeting my fellow CM forum members and possibly getting together in a pub after the event! ;D Have a great time, girls - and please be sure to take lots of pics! Come back with stories for those of us who can't be with you!
