Thanks for that Pisces, I for one hadn't read that one. I love the ending, and that Cillian decided to answer that question after all, and truthfully. Wow, a half-marathon in Paris...the man does love to run.

Ah, ofcourse I read the entire interview and it sort of made my day 'they think I unload the dishwasher for a living' haha I had to laugh so hard! Well, this just shows, again, how beautiful the man inside is. I read it once before, but couldn't find it anymore, thank you!

Thanks for posting that Pisces!! Although I already knew that interview it's always a pleasoure to read it. Cillian has such a great character! I can understand him very well that he's annoyed by stupid questions. I sometimes feel sorry for actors in general if they been asked silly things in interviews. I liked that with the dishwasher too, Redhead XD. I can imagine Cillian as a very sweet and caring father... *sighs*

I can understand him very well that he's annoyed by stupid questions. I sometimes feel sorry for actors in general if they been asked silly things in interviews. I feel the same way! I agree with Cillian, interviews should be related to his work, not some of the thoughtless questions interviewers come up with. I feel sorry for celebrities because of this, too. It must be difficult to keep their personal lives personal, and I can totally see where Cillian comes from. I'm glad he's not afraid to tell the interviewer how he feels about certain questions. I roared when I read that bit about his kids thinking he unloads the dishwasher for a living, lol! Too cute. I can imagine him being a sweet and caring father, too. It makes me melt a little when I think about it. ;D

haha! I have to be honest here.... I'm one of those strange and twisted individuals that likes those silly questions in interviews. For me it makes the interview a little more interesting because it seems when they focus only on his work we hear the same questions over an over again. Thanks for posting the link Pisces. It's been awhile since I read that one. I keep forgetting he ran that marathon in Paris. Here is an interview I like . It's older and it's a long one. Kevin Drew (Broken Social Scene) interviews Cillian and he asked him a silly question too. www.cilliansite.com/press/feature-stories/2007-04-00-undertheradar

I remember that one, I just read it again to refresh my memory, thanks for that Disarm! I think in that case, Cillian was willing to answer any question because of who was interviewing him. The vampire question was hilarious! I think there's different kinds of interviewers. Some just have a good sense of humour, and some are prying - I think Cillian can tell the difference. Plus if the interviewer is a stranger, that's different, too. But anyway, those kinds of questions I don't mind I suppose (like questions about his family), as long as the interviewer is respectful about it (like Kevin was). The whole interview was more like a discussion, which I like a lot more than the more "quizzing" ones.

Awww he was in Canada when I was there! I just saw the location of the interview. I think I remember they wrapped the skiing scenes in Kananaskis, Alberta not long before that because that's where I was.
I can well believe he cried at that book, "The Road" it is an amazing book, very sad all the way through, pertty intense.
