GASP!!!!! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! OMFG!!!!!!! That is SO FREAKING BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I can't believe that's watercolor!! SO JEALOUS of your talent!! I love the line art beneath the watercolor as well - it's sharp and crisp and the way you've captured his lean musculature is dead-on. Then of course - the hair! I can almost feel those glossy waves in my fingers!! I always noticed that Capa's hair gets longer and yummier thoughout the movie - and this looks like his hair at the end (and you got those sexy sideburns as well - unf!!).  And ohhhhh those incredible blue eyes...and his lips... this is fantastic, Zombie. Truly. Each piece of your art is completely different from the rest and each one stops me in my tracks. Can't wait to see more!! CB for you yet again!!!!!!!!! ;D

  "Would you like to see my light stripe suit ?" LOL Seriously, I can't get enough of Dillinger... This time I tried a rather different style. Not much Cillianess left... But I intended to draw him as a very cool, edgy and hard looking Manga bad boy. Hope you like it still... It's done with watercolor, pimped up with Photoshop. Especially the stripe part. That's entirely done with PS. Can't draw that with watercolor ! P.S.: Dillinger seems to have the same optician like Crane LOL Sketch: (5th attempt or something like that... XD)  Btw. I hope you don't think I'm crazy drawing so many Cillian fanarts as if I had nothing else to do in my life...  But there are so many ideas I have in my mind that I want to draw... I think my heart would just burst if I don't set them free... I'm not a maniac. Or... maybe ... a little bit... hahaha |

OMG!!! DILLINGER!! He looks so evil, staring at me with those icy blue eyes. LOVE how you put his grid suit under his clothing, and I love how he's teasing us with it, LOL! The colouring is beautiful, and I noticed his glasses do look like Crane's. I like them on him. Simply amazing, Zombiekitten! CB! ;D |

@disarm : First: Thank you ! About your question: No, I have never studied the human body. Not professionally. It's only self-taught. But I had many years of drawing experience. Since about 18 years I'm drawing humans (before it were only animals...  ) Cait: Thanks for CB and praise ! Yes, those glasses suit him very good. Better than the ones from the movie. YEAH!!! Another great piece of work ZombieKitten! I love the way he looks in it! It kind of makes me think of the photos in the CM shirt. The one that is like Superman. Oh and Zombiekitten, I don't think that you are crazy or that you have nothing better to do with your life than draw Cillian! I think that it is very important to express ourselves threw art. I can be such a great stress reliever. I think sometimes as humans we forget the importance of being creative. Anitnelav you should not worry about your English. It seems we all understand you pretty well. I am happy that you post here even though you are worried about your English. I am proud of you |

Thank you Mokey for saying this. That makes me feel better. ;D And you're right about that Super CM !! In fact I realized, while sketching this idea, that the pose has some similarities with the pics from that photoshoot. With that in mind and as an inspiration I developed the drawing further. I guess my subconscious was mixing up Dillinger and "Super Cillian" so I came to this idea LOL |

HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! What a sly look he's throwing us!! I particularly adore the soft looking beard and the yummy forearm as he's pulling open his shirt... GROWLLLLLLLLLLL... You're right that it's less Cillian-y, but he's definitely still there. And it DOES look like that old Superman Cillian pic, lol! And I am sure I speak for many other forum member when I say that I am so glad that you devote your time to drawing these amazing pictures - it's important for creative people to BE creative, and not worry that others might judge them. Thanks for the kind words Razz and Pisces. No, I won't stop drawing Cillian. It's too much fun. And it's the only way to get close to him , besides watching his movies and discuss about him here in the forum with my fellow fans. Okay... Well then... Now that I have my own thread I thought I can even post some of my unfinished work, roughs and scraps. So here we go...  SOME DAY I will do a portrait drawing from this delicious photo shoot... XD I' m actually working on the third attempt... This one was the first. Maybe I should finish it. Somehow I like it. In the beginning I was not happy with the right eye. That's why I gave up... Stupid me...  Second attempt. Still problems with the right eye LOL  Cilly laughing... This was just a quick sketch never intented to finish. |
