Way too cute! Cillian all happy about a cupcake. I still wonder if he knows about this whole obsession some of his fans have with him and cupcakes. Now dammit...that's another question we should've had somebody ask Cillian at the interview.  More on the funny/ less serious side, but it would be interesting to see what he had to say about it. SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MORE AMAZINGNESS FROM ZOMBIEKITTEN!!!!!!!!!!! I have to comment on both Crane and Birthday Cillian, since I haven't posted in a while: What I love most about the pic of Crane is the luscious lips. YUM. Although this one moves away quite a bit more from Cillian, it's still handsome as the devil. And reminds me of someone... whom I can't seem to think of just yet. There's an arrogant lift to his lip that I really like, and the details you put into his hair and clothing are nearly tactile delights! I very much envy your ability to draw clothing, as weird as that may sound, because I've always ignored/hated drawing clothing. I either leave it out (no, I don't draw everyone naked, I mean I do headshot so I can avoid the dreaded CLOTHING, lol!) or I scribble something so that a garment is suggested and I'm done. LOL. I love that you take your time and give every inch of your work the same loving attention. Birthday Cillian: CUTE! Looks like Capa, of course, and he seems embarassed that someone took notice of his special day. Which seems character appropriate, even though I believe you intended this as a Cillian drawing rather than Capa specifically.  Love the silly grin, the big blue eyes, and his touselled hair. In general I wonder if he knows about the fandoms about him in the web. And I would like to know what his opinion is about it. I can imagine that he doesn't feel much comfortable with the thought of crazy fangirls talking about his sexiness and stuff and creating funny memes or erotic artwork. XD Somehow I wouldn't want him to know about all of my artwork floating around in the web... I would be a little embarassed about it. I mean... naked Rippner and stuff...  *blushes* What would he think about me...?  |

You may wonder but drawing clothing is not a thing that comes easy for me. In fact it's always a quite difficult thing to draw and I have my troubles with it too. When I draw clothing I do it always very instinctive and more by going what looks neat and stylish and not what looks realistic. But I'm very happy about the fact that the outcome looks good for the viewer.  I believe you intended this as a Cillian drawing rather than Capa specifically. Yes that's right. In fact I wasn't thinking about Capa as I was drawing. I had some early photos of Cillian that I took as an inspiration. Especially for the hair. I wanted to picture it in that special way it falls, his unique growth of hair and parting. ;D |

Zombie, don't ever worry about what anyone would think with regards to your art - you draw what pleases you (and many of us certainly don't want you to stop!), and what has inspired you. You are not really drawing Cillian per se, when you draw your erotic art - you are drawing his characters, and there is a very clear separation between them. What Cillian creates (for us, I might add), is a fantasy. Something meant to be enjoyed as art, which you are taking to the next level with your art. I'm sure that Cillian understands inspiration, erotically expressed or otherwise. Besides, your drawings of Rippner are so clearly Rippner, as opposed to Cillian, that I can't see him taking offense - it's clearly not an image of him. Please don't feel even slightly embarassed for the incredible art you have shared - it's wonderful fantasy, and there is nothing out there like it.  Besides, if we all worried "What would Cillian think?", very few of us would attempt fanfics, fan arts, etc. Because there is always the possibility of being judged for it, by someone, somewhere. No artist could create freely under those sort of self-imposed, imaginary restrictions, so the best thing to do is to simply not worry about it. |

 Finally finished !!! Manga style Rippner. Gosh... that took me HOURS !! (and at least three attempts...) But I wanted to do him right. It's Rippner. He is special. He's hard to catch, very hard. Even just by drawing him. I DO hope you like the style I used on him... That "pretty" manga style thing. If there's something looking odd please tell ! I want to do our Mr.Rippner justice. I don't want to fail on drawing him. (Otherwise he's maybe after me... LOL) I'm not so sure about that "fade out" thing I did with his head... I've done this because I don't like to draw whole heads in this size. I can't do it very good... I hope this arty decision looks good 'cause I lost a bit me eye on this artwork... Like always... Let me show you my struggle with Mr.Rippner: First attempt outlined. Cancelled. (too much lashes LOL)  Second attempt. Try with watercolor and colored pencils. Cancelled half way done. (was ugly... Not enough Rippner-ness)  Final attempt. Sketchwork:  Final attempt. OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!*HYPERVENTILATING* That is the most GORGEOUS manga I have EVER SEEN!!! I KNEW you would do a PERFECT manga-style Rippner!!! I LOVE the way you've done his hair, especially that little piece hanging over his brow, and I love how his brows look at if they're slightly raised, but in a way to show a bit of arrogance that we all know Jackson possesses! His eyes definitely give it off, too! He looks so feisty. You drew his cheekbones, eyes, lips and hair to absolute perfection. His lips look so soft and kissable! Oh and of course you've included his adorable freckles, which I'm so glad you never forget to include!! BRILLIANT work, as usual! This is definitely one of my favourites from you. Thank you also for showing us your different attempts, it shows us how much work you put into your art. I think all of your attempts are stunning, but the final product is just flawless! You definitely succeeded in "doing him right"! ;D I aspire to be able to draw half as incredibly as you, Zombiekitten. You're just incredible. And that Dillinger preview is just so TEASING! I can't wait to see what you come up with next! CB!

Damnit, Cait, you stole my thunder!! LMAO!! I would have said so many of the same things you did already! Like how sexy that stray hair falling into his face is... UNF. The angle of his brows (yep, I'm obsessed with sexy brows on men) is so stunning and true-to-life. Zombie, you absolutely NAILED the shape of his face. Another detail that I appreciate is the sideburns; I've always had a particular attraction to Rippner's sexy sideburns, and you didn't leave them out! SQUEEEE!! I SO agree that Jackson Rippner is special (always have). He's completely set apart from all of Cillian's other characters, and it is difficult indeed to capture that unique Rippner magic in a drawing - but you've done it here. I'm so glad you persisted through what must have been a frustrating process, because the result is MORE than worth it! ;D Let me show you my struggle with Mr.Rippner LOL- when I read this, I got a completely different mental picture from what you meant. I'd love a good "struggle" with him myself.
