No I don't mind at all if you ask this Anitnelav.  I work in a petshop, selling animals. ;D A very nice job which I love. But you may wonder why I don't have a more creative job. Well... I never found something satisfying my really. Until I discovered Mangas. Since then it's my dream to become a manga artist. And in fact I did already two small comic projects in a little publisher. Now I'm heading for a bigger project. But sadly I'm in a down at the moment....  Kind of a blockade for this certain manga project. (and nearly everything else) Only drawing Cillian makes me happy at the moment... I Don't really know why. This down is quite frustrating 'cause I can't go any further ... |

 I was so enchanted by this photo of Michael, Impeachy uploaded recently in the photo thread, that I had to make a comic version out of it. This look is so sweet, I couldn't resist... But... well... in the end the look turned out completely different.  Still sweet but different. Haha... Hope you like it though. This time, against my usual way of drawing those comic version Cillians, I took a reference 'cause I really wanted to transfer the charms of the original photo. And I just loved that whole pose and angle and so on. Strange... I always talk about that I prefer a shaven Cillian but what am I doing ? Drawing Dillinger and Michael... LOL They do seem to have quite an attraction on me. ;D Technique is quite a chaotic mix of watercolors and colored pencils. I have to say that this pic encouraged me to do a colored realistic portrait of Cillian once. That would be so beautiful... But at the same time a very hard and ambitious thing to do.  |

No words could describe how breathtaking this is, Zombiekitten! This is so beautiful, and colourful. His eyes are like oceans! Love how you recreated the expression on his face, you really kept true to the reference pic! I love all the different colours you used for his hair, and I also love how you made the background, like a fog enveloping him, it's gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing!  I've said too that I prefer clean-shaven Cillian, but Michael is an exception. I think he's so perfect, even with the scruff. He also has those bangs, which I love on Cillian. It goes without saying, but you get yet another CB from me! I think you should draw more of Michael, you draw him perfectly. I have to ask, simply because I don't remember ever seeing one, but have you ever drawn Neil? He has so many adorable facial expressions, I'd love to see what you could do with him! I mean, you can draw whatever you want, but I admire your work so much, and it's so inspiring to see how you draw each character, and Cillian himself of course.  Edit: I remember you saying in the photo thread how you liked how his neck looked in this photo, well you've drawn it to perfection. I just want to kiss it. |

Zombie your work gets better each time which I didn't think was even possible because the very first art piece I seen of yours was perfect. The way you painted Michaels neck looks life-like. CB! I vote for drawn Neil also |

 I always thought Cillian looked at his best in Perrier's Bounty and that drawing is just amazing. Probably my favourite out of all the ones you've done so far. I love the vivid colours(the eyes- wow), the expression and how perfect you got the beard and hair. It's simply stunning. Have a CB(yet again!  )

You are one talented lady Zombiekitten! I LOVE your art work! Do you do some of this stuff professionally too? When I was a young kid I used to make these cartoon stories of a boy who was a super hero and he looked a lot like Capa! The drawings are no where near as amazing as yours but you just brought a little memory back there! Thank you xxx |

OMG!!! You've done it again Zombiekitten!! This is so lovely! I also love that pic of Michael! I loved the way Cillian looked as Michael! Thanks again for another a great piece of work! I would love to see more Michael. I also have to agree with Disarm and Cait about Niel. I would love to see that.

(besides in Murphy's Bar) But your words really encouraged me to do that! Aaaand: I already did some sketches !! He's really a funny character to draw. You can make one good comic character of him! Do you do some of this stuff professionally too? No I don't... But I was doing commissions some time ago. Not anymore 'cause at the moment I just have no strength for this. But if Cillian wants to have a personal drawing artist I would take that job !! LOL Btw: I'm happy to have brought back some nice childhood memories !! @ Razz: I'm so happy you like it !! Yeah, the beard part... It was not easy and I'm glad that it turned out that good. @disarm: My work gets better...? Ohh... That's really flattering and encouraging. I hope I can keep the quality to make you girls happy with every piece of art I create. @mokey: I have to repeat it: Thanks a thousand times for making this thread for me ! It has grown to kind of a "playground" for me. And drawing Cillian... well... to me his body of work is like a candyshop where I can chose between so many different flavours ! |

I wonder what the acting man would say if he saw this picture! Oh my gosh... I would LOVE to know how he thinks about my art... If he would only respond to the letter (including some of my artwork) I sent him two months ago.... I hope SO much that my letter (or his potential reply to me) didn't get lost somewhere on the postway....!!! It's my biggest fear. But maybe he's just too busy at the moment to respond to any fan mail. What I think is absolutely understandable ! But it's so agonizing to wait that long... Cillian !!! Please tell me you received my stuff ! |

Wow, Zombiekitten, your work is flawless!
However, I'd say my one nitpick is that you kinda do exaggerate the cheekbones somewhat; it makes the guys look a little caricature-ish. But I still love this stuff! Great work!

And I have to admit that I sometimes even exaggerate it to a point where it didn't goes well with the beauty of the rest of the drawing. I do this quite often... Maybe because I like to draw quite edgy and caricature-ish. Anyways, thanks for your critic ! I always appreciate the critical view from other people. It sometimes "opens" my own eyes a little. |
