I was expecting nothing else than this play to be brilliant !!! So much creativity, from both, Cillian and Enda. Oh wow.... I'm so proud of Cillian !!! But Cilly... please stop now with letting your beard grow! LOL It's enough. (Okay okay okay... it's part of his role. I accept it. ;D) CB for you Mokey

I accept it. ;D) LMAO - yeah, I'm slowly backsliding into how I felt previously about the beard. The cool thing is that he won't have it much longer - he begins shooting Wayfaring Strangers next month, and I can't see any way a British soldier in the 1940's would have a lengthy beard. That also means he will have to cut his hair again (sadly for me, as I love the hair!)

Damn. It actually hurts that there is no way I will ever see this. It's every bit as terrible as if he'd made a brilliant movie, been the star and had every minute of screentime... and the film was never released. This is yet another of those all-too-common moments where it's very difficult to be a fan of Cillian Murphy. Being deprived of the experience of something like this because of mere geography... yeah, yeah, life isn't fair. LOL. It sounds phenomenal. CB for you, Mokey, for torturing us with this, lol.

I feel heartbroken to be missing out on this, too! Ugh, it sounds SO amazing.
"The dance, mimicry, physical japes, even Murphy’s well-known cutesy little-boy act: all are well executed, timed and impeccably judged. One realises why he is so requested: Murphy hits the mark every time."
No one can deny how brilliant Cillian is. ;D

Many thanks for putting that up Mokey!
I'm not too familar with Cillians work when it comes to plays. But thinking this one sounds as if it must have been pretty interesting, and in particular think the character Cillian played sounded very intriguing! I wish I'd seen this thread sooner! Although, unfortunately, I still would have also missed this - sadly because of current budget limits. :-(
