So, someone asked me if a person who has had a sex-change should inform a new partner and I told them the story of someone I used to know very well came out to me telling me in confidence that he was born as a woman and how scared he was that I would never speak to him again... Talking about that made me remember how much I friggin miss him... (his girlfriend got made at me because he had told me his secret... )
Anyway this is the result of that... My first story involving Kitten if you don't count 'I Will Love You Monday'
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Her droopy blue eyes looked into the room; it wasn’t the look of depression or desperation but a look of longing. Was she looking for someone in particular or was she just wishing for someone, anyone to be there?
I will be the first to admit that I was staring at her as I was dancing with a drink in my hand completely ignoring that guy who was trying to grind against me.
There was something about her I couldn’t take my eyes off; she wasn’t like any other girl I had seen, especially not in here! Her luscious curls, those blue eyes and the bright lips made me stop moving all together. I wasn’t thinking when I went to the bar and got the attention of the bartender
“Two babycham thanks” I told him and I handed her one of them. She looked carefully at me and I gave her a big smile and she took it.
“Stood up?” I asked and took a big sip trying not to stare too much at her beauty.
“Is it that obvious?” she asked with a smile looking for my eyes.
“I know the feeling, wanna dance?” my confidence was taking my breath away and I took another gulp of the drink.
“Sure” she beamed and got up and followed me to the dance floor.
I won’t say she was a gracious dancer to the fast song but being close to her was all that mattered in the moment…
“Bobby!” she suddenly exclaimed excitedly as the mood changed with the new song, that song, ‘Honey’ always made me cry so hard and I bit into my lip “I love this song!” she said and hugged me, I wasn’t thinking either when I started slow dancing with her and I was sure the entire room was watching when she told me the story of the song and told me to pretend my name was Bobby…
Two girls slow dancing was surely something different all together in there but she smelled so nice, she was so soft, so gorgeous…
Kissing her was out of my control; I knew it was wrong when my lips pressed against her soft lips and the look in her eyes when I broke it made me take a step backwards and I practically sprinted towards the bar and asked for a straight vodka shot and knocked it back. I felt a hand on mine and looked up to see her.
“Sorry about that, you’re straight and I’m drunk” I stuttered. Her blue eyes were so piercing even in the poor lightning
“Don’t worry about it, what is your name darling?” she asked me and I put the glass back on the table
“I’m really sorry though” I stammered. She wet her lips, those soft lips of hers.
“I’m Kitten” she told me fondling my hand and I shivered at her gentle touch. “Come with me” she told me and she walked out and dumbstruck I followed her out on the wet street. She put her hands in the pocket of her leather coat and I did the same.
“Why did you kiss me?” she asked me after a while of me following her like a lost pup.
“It wasn’t on purpose I swear” I stopped dead in my tracks at her question. She laughed so heartedly at my response. “You don’t hate me?” I asked in disbelief at her smile
“Hate you? Darling!” she said and put an arm around my back. “Why would I hate you?” she wanted to know.
“Because I’m not straight…” I admitted swallowing hard again. She shook her head.
“That’s silly” she giggled but bit into her full red lips.
“Last time I kissed a woman my parents disowned me” I admitted with shame. She sank her teeth harder into her sweet lower lip.
We walked on for a while until she broke the silence.
“Can I tell you a secret?” she suddenly seemed very uneasy and I looked into her eyes wondering what she was about to tell me, was she some beautiful axe murderer or what? “I’m not… I’m not technically a woman” she admitted and I couldn’t help but smile at that.
“You’re not?” I asked. What was she then?
“No” she said and turned her face away from me. I reached for her face and made her look at me again; I studied her face closely.
“You had me fooled” I gasped. I still couldn’t tell. “You’re so flawless” I said as I kept holding onto her smooth chin. I could tell she was getting uncomfortable and I finally let go. “What a pair we are” I burst out laughing and she giggled.
“You don’t mind?” she asked me and I shook my head
“Why would I?” I told her truthfully “This is me” I pointed to the entrance to my block of flats
“Oh” her long eyelashes fluttered as her beautiful eyes sought her red heels.
“You can come with me if you want” I told her and she now looked back up at me and followed me inside…
After making a cup of tea for the both of us I faced her and swallowed
“I know I’m the wrong kind of girl and all but I have to ask you one thing” I told her as I wrapped my hands around the scorching hot cup.
“Yes?” she asked stirring her own cup.
“Even if you can’t love me, can I love you?” I said and drank from the cup and burned myself in the process
“Excuse me?” she questioned as her brows furrowed; her eyes so full of questions.
“Never mind” I shrugged my shoulder…
The beautiful creature slept on my couch that night and when I woke up she was long gone… but I will never forget her…
