Dear Cillian Lovers, Hope you're all getting in the Christmas spirit and having fun wherever you are.  Ok so this is an idea i've taken from another forum that i'm a member of. I always thought it would be a great thing to do on this forum as everyone is so friendly but the number of active members wasn't really big enough a couple of years ago. Now though, we've never been busier so i thought it's the perfect year to try it and see how it goes. They've been holding it for a few years now on the other forum and it's always great craic and brings the whole forum together at this fesive time of year. It basically works like any awards ceremony! I'll post some categories and then you can all PM me with the names of your nominations for each category. Then i'll count up the nominations and the winners will be announced. -You can only vote for one member/thread/option per category. -Copy and paste the list of categories from below into your PM and then fill in your choices. -If you can't think of an answer for a specific cateogory then leave it blank. -Voting can take place until the 30th of December.[/b][/color] -The winners will be announced on Sunday the 1st of January.[/b][/color] So get voting and have fun! LOVE this idea, Razz!!! Can we add one more award category, though? We have some members who have been outstanding at bringing Cillian news and links, etc; we need a category for Best News Correspondant, or something like that. And... can mods vote too...??  |

Yay, glad ye all like the idea! I know i love taking part in it every year on the other forum. ;D This one will be even better though cos the members of this forum are way chattier with each other and more friendly in general. LOVE this idea, Razz!!! Can we add one more award category, though? Ah that's a good one, i added that in there. I think we've covered pretty much all the major categories but if anyone else can think of something i've missed just post it here and i'll add it in. This is an absolutely fantasitc idea, Razz! I don't have time to vote right now, but will do later tonight. It's going to be a tough choice for sure, but it'll be so much fun. |

I'm not the brightest bulb in the christmas tree, so I have a couple of questions... Fan art: Do I vote for my favorite artist, not favorite piece of art? Signature: That can be either text or a picture?(Sorry, this forum thing is new to me. I've only been on one forum before, and not many people use sigs, avatars and things like that there.) Do I answer with the name of a member to every category?(Or do I write the name of the best thread, for example) Sorry for my stupidity and poor english. If there was a category for the simplest member, there would be no doubt about the winner . |

For the fan art category you can pick your favourite artist only if you want to or you can be more specific and pick your favourite picture by that artist- if you choose a specific picture it's probably easiest if you could include the direct link to where it's posted in the forum. That way i can find it easily and make sure i know which one you're referrring to. For the signature you can vote for it for whatever reason you want, whether it be the text or picture or GIF that you love, as long as it's contained in the members signature and appears beneath all their posts then it's valid. And for the best thread one you should give the name of your favourite thread to post in, the one you enjoy visiting the most, not the member who created it. Hope that helps! |
