I'm not sure how to display an icon and other cillian pictures along with my posts. Can anyone who knows how tell me? I would really appreciate it.
Oh, and if this thread is in the wrong place, ( I have no idea where this should be put) please feel free to move it.

Seeing as I have no thread-moving powers, I'll just answer the question here. (I think it's supposed to be under Forum FAQ, however...) Icon -- Up at the top of the page, you should see that strip that says "Home, help, search"... etc. Click profile, and on the page that comes up, scroll down a bit, you should see a place to enter a URL for the avatar you'd like. It should be uploaded to an image host like photobucket (www.photobucket.com), for it to work. So then you get the url and put it in there. If you don't know how to get the URL (Seeing as I suck at explaining, so that was rather vague if you DON'T know...), just ask or something.... Yeah. Put images in post -- Paste the URL into your post. You can either manually put image tags around it, which would look like this: [*img]theimageurl[*/img] (Remove the *'s) Or, you can highlight the URL you pasted in, and click the little picture icon in that toolbar-ish thing above the post textbox, where it says "Add Tags". That'll do it for ya. That would put a picture in your post. Signatures (I think that's what you were asking about... Mebbeh.) -- Go to the same place you would go to change your icon. There'll be a box for your signature. To get an image in your signature, just do the same thing you would do to put an image in a post ^^ I hope I got it all. Ok, this avatar things not working for me, someone please help!! I've done everything stated but it won't work. Someone wanna help me out please!!

Er, is there any particular area that you think the problem is in? I just can't seem to get an avatar. I put in the URL stuff & the size, etc. And it just doesn't show up. Maybe someone can do it for me? I just want one, my own Cillian to stare at. |
