Oh no Cait I'm there with you on the 3/4am thing it's awful! It's warming up a little here too in UK and I have found a nice lake nearby near my new gaff so I will be taking my chill out walks and taking my books to read there. ;D

Sitting at work having my break reading Garfield cartoons online and checking this place while waiting to go back to doing the same with the occasional interruption of a phone ringing with actual work...

I'm sitting here trying to decide whether to buy a PS3 or an Xbox 360. I've been in the mood to game recently, and the Wii just isn't cutting it. Thinking I'm going to go with the PS3, as the online gaming is free.

Aah, Cate, that's a tough question. The PS3 is much more powerful than the Xbox 360, but there are plenty of great games that you can't find on that one. Such as Alan Wake. There are many pros and cons about this eternal struggle between Microsoft and Sony. The PS3's processor is powerful, but the X360's graphic card has its potential exploited to its best. That means that the games on the PS3 are faster but the games on the X360 are much better looking. Most of PS3 games are not using the console's maximum potential, whereas the X360's games are using everything that machine has to offer. There are much more games on the X360 than there are on the PS3, too. The Playstation Network is free, whereas the Xbox Live Gold Membership costs about 60€ a year. But Microsoft has decided to help thousands of indie games makers, which means you'll find amazing games developped by young developpers and most of the time they're at a really cheap price compared to how awesome they are. The xbox has Kinect. And let me tell you, the dance games are 10 times better on the kinect than with the PS Move (which is basically a wiimote for PS3). I used to own a PS3 and a xbox360, but after six months I sold my PS3 to buy the kinect and a handful of games for the xbox. But then again, it's my opinion. Careful though, the PS3 is more reliable than the xbox when it comes to hardware problems. But Microsoft deals with these problems twice as fast as Sony. And it's cheaper. Sorry, gamer post. I'll just leave now.

I still remember my first and only time using a playstation! I was at a gettogether with my friends and they were playing Bomber Man on this huge screen and I mentioned I was a 'PS Virgin' and I was forced to play... gosh we had fun! my friend seriously yelled so loud I think the entire building heard her 'RUUUUUN MaJa, RUUN!!' I sucked at the game however... but the others had fun watching me and playing against me, they're all hardcore gamers...
As for what I'm doing now? exactly the same as when I posted yesterday *yawn*

Thanks for your input, Jinx! I've never gotten into console gaming, I'm more of a PC gamer, but I wanted to give it a go. I ended up going for the PS3 because it is more powerful, has a much lower fail rate, and the games I want to try out are all for the PS3. If I were going to become a serious console gamer, and wanted all the bells and whistles, and the good graphics, I probably would have gone for the XBox but the PS3 just sounded better to me for some reason. Amazing graphics are a great bonus, but I prefer smooth and fast performance, and reliabilty. I've heard many people that I know who own Xboxes who have gotten the "red ring of death" and I didn't want to deal with that. I played Kinect at a friend's house and it's really great, and is obviously way better than the Wii and PS Move but I'm a bit old school. When I want to play a game on a console, I like to use just regular controllers. If I enjoy the PS3, I'll probably end up buying an Xbox in the future so I can have both. We'll see!

I'm at work being bored out of my wits... while trying to wear in my new shoes with the insane heels I'm planning on wearing on the 30th at the masked ball... so far sitting in them seems fine... walking is a whole other thing.
Good thing they were really cheap

At work, wasting my time by trying to figure out how I'm to wash my faux fur coat... as of tomorrow I won't be using it till next winter... I love that coat so much!
Today in town, leaving a meeting this adorable little kid reached out and grabbed my sleeve and petted it like a teddy bear... that was just the cutest thing ever
Gee, to think I once swore I'd never own a coat like that, never ever in my life would I support fur, fake as well as real... that all changed when I fell in love with 'Cilly'... yes I gave it a pet name

Watching this unbelievable video on repeat. It continues to astound me. Best dance routine ever! And loosely related to Cillian seen as it's called Tron Dance!

Isn't it amazing?! ;D That's a pretty funny image- Cillian dancing like that, given how shy he seemed at the DJ thing i'd say it'd take a lot of drink to get him to do that!

I'm looking up houses/town homes up the street from where I live; I wonder if I could talk my mother into moving out of an apartment and buying a rather nice town home in downtown Gtown (where I live)
I mean, these homes are SO CUTE! Just how I imagine my home...when I move to Maine--Maine...*sighs* I wish I could live in Maine...*dreams*
