I've always seen some great responses to this thread,,,
I'm currently trying to write more on my Neil fic while waiting for the time I have to clean the house for the guests we're having over tonight...

Oh, glad to hear you continue writing on the Neil fic. I really wonder what happens next! ;D As for my fandom I'm currently giving the finishing touch to chapter 5 of Dextra. (chapter 6, which will be quite a crucial chapter, is also quite progressed already. But difficult to write... ) As for the work related stuff I'm heading for a very hard rest of March... I have to work more than usual for the next three weeks because due to illness and vacations we are a little bit understaffed at the moment. UGH.... it's going to be heavy...

Downloading scads of new, super-cool fonts for the site. Found one called "Bleeding Cowboys" that I love... have the feeling it will end up as Mr. Rippner's new logo. ;D I have a long-standing love for interesting fonts; they're a category of art, I think; and sometimes the names of the fonts are a real laugh. Grabbed some really neat celtic fonts, and some Japanese ones too, though I have no idea what I will do with them. LOL. Couldn't pass them up!

"Bleeding cowboys" has to be one of the most epic fonts out there. Shame it doesn't support accents though (french is full of accents so it's pretty hard to add some nice looking accents on photoshop if you write in french). You found it on dafont.com? When I'm bored I go to this site and browse all the fonts. Find some really good ones like the Pirates of the Caribbean font or the Back to the Future one. Awesome Currently I'm writing a fanfiction on my latest obsession: Alan Wake. If you like Stephen King and noir/horror stories, you'll love this game. It is really good, it's more of a movie than a game. The story is excellent, very subtle and very unsettling. It was written by two scenarii writers, Sam Lake (the original Max Payne) and Mikki Rautalahti and was developped by the awesome Remedy Entertainment studios. They are a small team, about 60 people (which is pretty amazing because these days you need at least 100 developpers for a full game) based in Finland. They are the ones who created Max Payne and introduced "bullet time" into video games. And they chose a very gorgeous actor to play Alan Wake, his name is Ilkka Villi and he's awesome. I just can't get bored of that game, I bought it years ago on the xbox and still play it pretty often. Now that the spin-off ("Alan Wake's American Nightmare") is out, I'm even more obsessed by it. Because the bad guy in this one... Well... He's just... Perfect. Oh and by the way, it's kind of a horror game, so it's pretty hard for me to play it, because I... Well... I have issues with horror movies and games. See for yourself xD

I absolutely LOVE fonts, I have so many on my computer. They're so fun to play around with. Sometimes it's the font that you choose that can make or break a design, they're very important to the process. I love the Celtic fonts, just used one in a presentation I did. Right now I'm watching Grimm on my DVR, love this show! David Giuntoli is easy on the eyes, too. I'm so happy that I'm on my break now, looking forward to being able to relax and perhaps work on some fanart. Maybe I'll even finish the fanfiction I'm working on featuring Mr. Leon!

I'm actually excited that you are on break, because I'm hoping for either the fic or some outstanding fan art from you!! ;D I totally agree with you, Pisces! They really CAN make or break a design... and sometimes they can even inspire one. I downloaded at least fifty new fonts today, and a few were Western ones, so I ended up making this silly Wanted poster for Trevor Moore, lol: I really should have made one for my Cowboy Cilly, lol.

I'm having a slow morning watching ICarly on the telly while waiting for my mother to finish washing her clothes so I can wash mine...
I'm also contemplating training how to walk in my new shoes, they were a bit taller than I thought when I tried them on in the store... I don't want to look like a fool at the Masked ball I'm planning on wearing them to

Waiting for the last half an hour to pass so I can go use a gift card on a new bag, the one I have now looks like something I pulled out of a dumpster after 5 years of good use... surely it still holds all the groceries and what not but it makes it hard to feel like the lady I want to be
Yes I'm vain

LOL, you're not vain at all, Rose! I have a bit of an obsession with handbags. I have way too many because I buy them all the time. I've had my current one since Christmas, and that's actually quite long for me to go without buying a new one!
Right now I'm contemplating going out to the store, just to get out because it is so beautiful and sunny out today. I wish I had gotten up earlier, but my sleeping schedule is all messed up due to being on break from college. I'm going to bed at 3/4am and waking up at 1/2pm! Not good, LOL!
