hello. I finally managed to create some sort of avatar in motion, just the format is shockwave flash object or koolmoves document (kool moves, as you probably know, is the software name). now, I did try and upload it to use it on the forum, but it didn't work. are avatars in motion not allowed on this forum? or is it the wrong type of file? no matter how hard I try, I cannot save it as gif. file. sob!  can you help me out of this? |

Your software sucks. Haha. Just kidding. I don't know whats wrong. You can upload .swf on myfilestash.com but I don't know where that will get you.

i cant see avatars now, well i can see some poeples but not many.
is anyone else having this propblem???

Avoca- On the forum, avatars in the format of .bmp, .jpg, .gif, and .png are allowed. Normally, avatars that are animated are in .gif format. Otherwise, any other format, I'm expecting it won't work on the forum.
Revengent- No, I'm not having that problem. I can see everyone's avatars, except yours, coincidentally. I have no idea what the problem could be.

thanks for the info, shannon. I did have problems in viewing avatars of many of the members past days.. we were talking about this with other members here. I don't know what it was. maybe the site they have uploaded their avatars is down..? I don't really know, I am no expert.  |

I'm guessing maybe photobucket was down for a bit? Most of the fansites on the net go blank when they have a brain fart over there  Avoca, I see you sorted out your avatar - she's gorgeous, looks great!! Cheers ~Ultra |

Aw, Revengent, look like you were using one of the old gallery pics from the much-missed main C-M site, which is no longer up.  You'll have to upload a pic somewhere like photobucket, then link it again. There's another sticky topic in this section about how to upload a picture if you need a hand (or PM Shannon or myself for help of course!). Good luck!  ~ Ultra |
