I guess this is kind of like putting I'm Happy Because... and I'm (not) Happy Because... together, and turning it into a optimistic thread game...thing...
so I'll go first.
Bad News: I completely missed Toby Turner (Tobuscus) this weekend in Austin, he was even at a Wal Mart event last night, and I still couldn't go.
Good News: The sexual frustration that this entire ordeal brings has inspired me to write a one shot with Tobuscus...
yay.
okay, next.

The bad news is that I'm crying
The good news is that I'm crying because my 'Mr Magic' has just talked to me... while reminding me he's too busy to be in my life and we're strictly friends he also reminds me someone has faith in me... something that not even I have these days

This is a great idea for a thread Bunnie! Always look on the bright side! That's what I always say ;D
Bad News: My dad has currently a lot of problems because of a "friend" who uses his works (my dad's a writer) without his consent. And his so called friend has arranged the whole thing in his own favor: if the administration decides to check what he's doing, he won't have any problems. My father, on the other hand, will have to pay about 20'000€ and/or go to jail for 6 weeks. Yay.
Good News: This means my father has decided to stop working for now, and I suddenly realize that we didn't speak too much. We usually ate dinner in front of our respective PCs and the only words we exchanged everyday were "good morning" and "good night". Now we sit down, have dinner together, and we talk. A lot. It's refreshing. We watch a lot of movies together, and we're building a new room for our house. It's very hard work but we forget about those problems when we carry 50kg bags of sand together. And we laugh a lot too!

The Bad News: Today when I went to my retina specialist for a check up, I had to get a shot...in my eye! Turns out my Retina started swelling. And now it hurts, my eye is swollen and red, and I had to call in from work The Good News: We figured out why I couldn't see in my right eye.

Whys that Bunz? What's the matter? I do worry about you and your eyes. Must be awful, I can't imagine what you are suffering. I'm more in a good decision bad decision scenario at the moment about moving towns but I'm so tired of moving around over the last year and a half I'm staying where I am! I miss my family & northerly friends & bills always leave you broke living on yer own but that's life.

I really hope they can help you Bunnie!
The bad news is that I'm really not upto packing more stuff, I am right now packing boxes of stuff I want to save but can't bring with me, and it seems like so much work when I'm so tired and ill
The good news is that I found the bible I was given by some heavily Christian branch of the family who never mingle with us commoners, unless that time when I held my Confirmation and they sent me a bible... The bible is from 1931, pretty sure it's leather bound and it used to belong to an avid preacher... it's so used it's almost scary and I'm beginning to wonder if I could sell it... I mean I gave up on God when I was 13, I have read the bible so much and I still have the new bible the priest gave us back then...

I'm also curious what they have found out regarding your eyes, Bunnie. Do you want to tell us about? I have hopes because you declared it as "good news"... So I guess it's something curable and not something crucial.

So what happened was after ALL my surgeries I started losing vision in my right eye; all I saw was a bright white light in the middle with a skewed image around it.
So my doc took a few pictures of my Retina, and he played the 'This is what a normal Retina looks like, and this is what yours looks like."
and it was seriously swelling, like badly. And that's why I was losing my vision; so they stuck a needle in my eye full of medication instead of giving me drops that I would have to take for like 6 months.
And I can proudly say that while my eye still hurts, my vision is much better than yesterday...it's just going to take a month to get my entire vision back.

That's such a relief that they found out what was going on, Bunnie! Do they know why your retina was swelling? I can't imagine having a needle in my eye, that had to have been very uncomfortable. It's good to hear that your vision is already improving, though!

The doc says that the Retina usually swells after so many surgeries...but them numbed my entire right eye so I didn't feel anything.

Wow Bunz! You are extremely brave and I'm so glad you have (excuse the silly pun) light at the end if the tunnel! Thank heavens for medical wizardry!

Yeah, but I really like my doc, he looks like Christopher Nolan and we're always doing Batman puns when we see each other; but yeah, I was scared out of my mind.
but now it's over, however now I have to see him every three weeks to make sure my eye pressure level is normal.

That is good news Bunnie! I have a friend who is blind on one eye so I know how difficult that can be, thank goodness you will have your vision back soon!
(Funny story, I'm near deaf on one ear and as it turns out we fit perfectly when we walk together, granted we're on the right side of each other, else we can't see or hear the other person...)
The Bad news is that I'm tired but I can't sleep
The good news is that I'm tired from getting really far in the stuff I need to sort before I move out of this place and that I then went to a lovely Chinese restaurant with my Mum, my aunt and my mothers aunt because it was the latters Birthday...

Bad news is I'm totally out of money right now. Good news is the spark in my little cousin's eye (Enzo, 9 years old) when he opened his present, all the superhero movies DVDs I could find (from Spiderman 1 to Green Lantern, including a reservation for the Collector Edition of the Avengers) was well worth it.
