Who Are You Channeling?

Ok guys, this is a fun thread about subjective perspective, regard and having a giggle. Some of us know others more by flesh than word here and vice-versa.

We all know we are original personalities but we all have at some point, been compared to or remind somebody of somebody else, usually a character or well known personality, even a cartoon! There are rules for this thread:

* The nominee has to approve the comparison by another member before it is posted on the board. This eliminates any chance of unintended offence! This can be done via PM or general outside forum interaction.

*Please keep it clean and fun!

*There is no limit to comparing facets of members' personalities and looks over time because it could be a situation or a particular story relating to different events that occur and indeed, we do change and change happens around us everyday!

Ok so I will start to explain this further and give a funny example.
Dulcemirita who met me in London made a funny comparison of me to Julie Andrews in Victor Victoria. I am ashamed to say I have never seen the film! When I saw the trailer for this film I laughed so much and was kind of freaked out too because I have a very uncanny photo of a younger me dressed similar performing in an old show.





Also, Pisces who has never met me in person but we have a good connection on the interwebz and post service says I am like Joe Pesci in Casino! ;D Unfortunately, because of Pesci's colourful linguistics I can't post any clips of him here! ;D

So who are you channeling?

At the moment I can't think of any channeling about anyone here, but as soon as I have an idea, I will set that in motion and add it to this thread. ;D

This one's for you! Of course you did change your avatar for a wee while to this sinewy shero and we know why... It's hard to put the arms, badge and regalia back in the closet and some things just keep on keeping on in the fight for peace & justice! ;D



But also I think she looks a little bit like you and I see her in your personality. Sensitive and gentle but one helluva kick ass chick. ;D

Well, if I had to say who I'm channeling, I'd WANT to say it's Elle Driver. Her height, her fondness for words like "gargantuan," and of course her kickass attitude are things I'd love to see in myself (well, two out of three ain't bad)...



But... in real life, I'm much more like the character Michael Bolton in office space... a female version. His sister, perhaps.



Sad as it is, I probably identify with this character more than many others I've seen in movies, and I react to things very much as he does. So, there you go. I'm channeling "Michael Bolton" from Office Space. Honesty counts for something!

Pisces, honestly, I have to think about you whenever I see that pic of Sarah Connor or whenever I hear her getting mentioned or see her in the movie etc
That connection is now branded into my brain and my heart

You have a strong personality and a great heart. You are absolutely worth channeling such a strong woman's character. Actually, you are a real life shero.
