How do you get karma?

One thing I've found out that may solve the puzzle of the disappearing karma (or Cill bars). When you reward someone, the new number shows up on their Profile page. If you hit the "Back" arrow button to get back to the thread you were on, it undoes your last action. So it removes the Cill bar, so their number stays the same. However, for some reason the counter thing that figures out how often you can give out karma, still registers that you've done it once in an hour. So, don't hit the "back" arrow, just go to the forum link near the top of the page, and go back to where you were that way. Same thing happens with posts, BTW, which is why you might spend a long time writing a post, hit "Post Reply" and think you're done. But again, if you use the "back" arrow, your post disappears. I felt so much better once I realized *why* that stuff was happening!

Stormy, although it seems like it disappears it actually doesn't, but you're hitting 'back' so you're seeing the last action you've done. It's okay to hit the back arrow, but if you want to see the new cill bar you've rewarded or the last post you posted, just hit the refresh button and voila! It shall appear.

With regards to the 'love' thing, it is a european thing and I love saying it too! It's so endearing, I wish people used it more, it's very sweet.

I was wandering around yesterday at old posts and saw the exalt and smite buttons...I'm glad we don't have the smite buttons anymore...

yeah, i was wondering about that... the smite button, bc im relatively new, and... there are none even though people were always like "exalt or smite"... actually, the smite thing showed up if you do the 'look at 50 most recent posts'... haha, not that any of this really matters ;D

ok guys, please pardon me for being such a newbie - but i don't see karma, i only see Cillian bars. i got a Cillian bar & i'm thrilled, don't know what it is but i assume it's good - right?
