Hi everyone! Or the 14 guests who are lurking on this site.
I'm Gobby, taken from gobstopper because I was (and still am) obsessed with the warped imaginative work of Willy Wonka.
**NOTE: I'm sorry for this ridiculously long re-intro post but I came back to this forum because I was nostalgic and need to get all my feelings out!
I joined the forum in 2005 when I was 15! When online was a smaller place, before the invention of Twitter and Tumblr, which have since taken over the fan bases and fan interaction spheres. I was 15 and I found this wonderful group of intelligent, nice people who were fun and friendly and happy to spazz over the complexities of Dr. Crane and Jackson Rippner. I also photoshopped these things called Cillian Bars (which seem to have been phased out). I stopped in 2007-2008 after Hippie Hippie Shake was perpetually in production (and officially shelved). And also, life happened. I stopped typing with extensive ellipses.
It's been 9 years since I started and 7 since I stopped. I'm back because I'm really excited about "Heart of the Sea" (2015), a tale of a whale which seems to have inspired Herman Melville's best known work.
I stalked the forum extensively before this post and was pretty shocked at how it died. I don't know the whole story and I don't care (that much).
But this website is still here, and I think the community could come back. I'm going to try to post regularly and hopefully others will do the same. There are some guests around. Maybe you're an oldie like me, scared of commitment. Or you're new and just want to share your enthusiasm for some combination of Cillian's talent, work, reclusive-ness, looks, cheekbones, icy stare, Irishness, whatever.
So yeah. Hi~ I welcome questions and conversation.
Let's make the internet a pro-Cillian place for all.

It's nice to meet(?)someone who's been a member since 2005. I bet the forum was livelier back then. Life happens for all of us but it's always great when oldies come back. I hope it encourages more members to come back or newbies to join.
