You know Cillian's supposed to have performed "So New" during the credits of disco pigs... I am dieing to hear it if that's the case... but I haven't been able to find any samples at all... I am angrified!!! Anywayz... has anyone heard it?? does he sound good ((As if he couldn't anywayz, but still))

He does sound very good, yes. If you get a trial membership to Netflix, you can order Disco Pigs from them (as long as you cancel it before their 2-week trial period is up, you don't have to pay unless you want to continue with the membership) - and hear it for yourself. If now, you can go to www.limewire.com and see if you want to download their software for file-sharing. Then you can just do a search for "So New" by Cillian Murphy and download the mp3. I could have sent the file out but people violated copyrights by doing mindless sharing so our moderator has requested us to not post it here. But if you haven't seen Disco Pigs you should. And Limewire will let you download the song. And as reverie says, yes - he has an amaing voice..  - he is very good. |

I totally agree - that voice is to die for.
I so love the line "I missed you.. so.. much", and that short pause between the words. You can almost feel him feel. If you know what I mean?
It really is to bad he doesn´t try to have a parallel career as a singer. I think he would be wounderful. *sigh*

Yup, I heard the song too, if he cuts an album, it should be great. I wonder if he played the guitar in the song as well, cos he is a musician.

Well, he said somewhere in an interview, when someone asked him why he didn't release an album, that he thought it was a bad idea for actors to try to be rock stars also.
He said he'd actually stood outside one of the theatre companies touring Cork after he'd just seen Disco Pigs and begged and begged until someone gave him an audition - sounds pretty desperate so I don't think he'd want to trade that in for a singing career...
