You know, I feel like I have a reason to be proud - I just saw the trailer/credits of Batman Begins - and Cillian has starred with some pretty heavy-weights. And if in a movie with that many good actors, if he was the ONLY one I noticed (especially considering his role isn't that long, time wise...)
I think all of us who were infected after Batman Begins should really be proud - to have picked this gem from amongst the other (admittedly fine actors) in the movie...
Although I still want to scream at all the time wasted when I could have "discovered" him and spent worshipping him ....

lol! Awww, he's our gem. I'm getting all mushy. There were some extremely great actors in BB. Imagine what Cillian thought when he first got the role? Wow. He's lucky but could now be amongst them.

I mean seriously - he's so amazing in the movie that in his limited role, he was the only one I fell for - and have been infected ever since. He is single-handedly responsible for Red-Eye having some pretty great collections - I know I went ONLY for him... And he has to be proud - yeah, the actors are great but he will soon be in that league - considering some of the amazing movies he's done. It's like Dan Brown - most people had not heard of any of his books until DaVinci Code was such a smash bestseller. Cillian is just waiting to be discovered. Once they see what an amazing ACTOR he is (not just another pretty face - he did hold his own in Batman!) - they will go back and then they will discover that Batman Begins and Red-Eye or even 28DL are not even his best work - I mean compared to his brilliance in Disco Pigs or On the Edge .... And we'll be smirking because we knew it FIRST!!! Na na na na na na..

LOL! I'm sure he was proud, and very happy to work with who he did in BB. I admit I probibly would have seen Red Eye even if he wasn't in it, but I wouldn't have been calling every theater in a 30 mile radius everyday to see if it was FINALLY going to show (which it still hasn't, and I'm still calling). But he is brilliant in his other roles, and I can't wait to see all his movies so I can say that for sure. (even though I already an sure )

AAAWWWWW - I'm sorry - look at us all going on and on about the movie when you have to see it - I'll cross my fingers and toes and pray pray pray for you to see it soon - and I have offered someone else this - but maybe you'll need it way more - I'll buy you the damned DVD if things get that bad.
Then you can watch it and watch it and watch it and watch it....

Hey, does anyone have a good pic of him as Dr. Crane (the courtroom scene, you know....) - I tried to get it from the avatars section but it's too small...and it's my absolute favorite pic of him - I want it as a wallpaper but I can get a good enough shot that'll stand up to being stretched that much (bad resolution, you know??)
Anyone??

Ok, I'll see what I can do...but Aurora could probibly do one better then any of mine. Do you want just one in it or more? (I think I have three from that scene, but I'm not sure how many of them are workable with the crap program I have)

hehehehehehe...it always feels good to see that - thank you raine!!!
and seriously, when will people realize he's is wwwaaaayyyyy more than just a pretty face? there's a statement somehere in the forum from an article about him in RedEye where the reviewer says something like "he could use the work" - gawd!!!
I'll see if I can find that thread - I was boiling when I read it - if that reviewer were here, I would ssssooooo smite him down - I would ask the moderators to make an exception in their "smite only once every hour" rule!!
Really! *sits in a huff in the corner*
So..how was your day, folks!

i'm still drooling. when crane came on the screen i almost fell out of my chair. so pretty. so pretty. i posted in intermission already because when the movie was over i drove myself to blockbuster and bought intermission and watched that until midnight. i wasn't through with cillian yet. then i couldn't sleep until 3 i was so revved up.
but then i had a really hot dream so it was all worth it. such a nice evening all the way around.
yay!
