Unfortunately, not until March 19th; however, I've had the pleasure of seeing it at the San Francisco Indie Film Festival this past weekend. I completely and wholeheartedly agree with you that Cillian and Colin were absolutely wonderful in it, not to mention, that the movie itself was great and funny as hell. I can't wait to see it again.

I only see irish films so soon, i'd imagine Intermission will be out on video here any day now, certainly the films that were in the cinema then are out on video now. We have to wait a lot longer to see amwerican films over here

Just so very jealous! Can't wait to see it again...
But here's something kinda cool that I found, a mock-up of their character's profiles:
Bio on John (Cillian) Bio on Deirdre (Kelly Macdonald) Bio on Lehiff (Colin Farrell) Bio on Sally (Shirley Henderson) Bio on Jerry (Colm Meaney)

I just saw it again(1st time since isaw it in the cinema), The film society in my college were showing it, I enjoyed it more this time, The best scenes are when John leaves his job & the scenes at the clothes shop when it shows yer wan with the bad attitude. The guy in the wheelchair in the pub is deadly craic especially in the end.

...saw it again this weekend. I figure since I had to reschedule my Dublin trip for April, I made a trek to L.A. to see this film again...and to visit a couple friends. Second time around was much better. My friends absolutely loved it too. ;D

WoW! I finally saw Intermission yesterday! I laughed and laughed. It was the funniest, most complex movie I have seen in a LONG time. It lived up to alllll my expectations. Who is the actor who portrayed Oscar? He was pretty funny. Oddly enough, most of the audience were old geezers. HA!

I think it was Dave Wilmot who played Oscar, he was good alright, looks very alike B.Murphy from Apres Match, thought it was him 1st.

Hi all, this movie has recently been in the cinemas in Australia, I saw it once with my sister and we agreed that you need a damn good grasp of Irish voices & slang to follow it! We had no trouble (some Irish in the family) but most of my friends would have given up after a short while. Did anyone find it hard to follow the first time through? Anyway, I loved it too and will be ordering it shortly from the UK if it doesn't get a local release soon. I miss those people ! Great characters, and the cast worked so well together, some fabulous funny bits - we were giggling over bits of it for ages after it. Poor Oscar in the video shop had us both in fits. Ta for the clip link, Jo, (still works, newcomers!) John was so lovely, if a bit of an idiot. I'll sleep well now, after watching that! Cheers ~Ultra

Intermission was on limited release here in the US. I had the opportunity to see it twice in the theatres, but it is unfortunate that not every Cillian fan has had a chance to see it. It is, however, an indie film so that was somewhat a given of the limited screen showings. The dvd will be released some time in September here so that's not too far away. I purchased mine abroad, and I have screencaps on C-M.com if you'd like to check it out.
