If he did do it, he could change his name from "Jack Rippner" "to Jack Ripped Her" lol! Just a little dark humor! Better than Cillian's carrot joke don't you think? lol!

It should have been supernatural since Wes Craven made it.

but that is such a stereo type and unfair really
its thinking like that that can ruin careers like right now the whole evil villain thing with cillian
its their choice what kind of movie they want to do
nd when people dont like it when actors or directors or whatever have a role that differs from their breakout role, its just unfair nd unreasonable nd even stupid to a pt
if everything worked out that way, cillian would hav to end up being a bad guy in every movie til kingdom come nd thats not hppening is it??
sorry for the outburst i juss reallt dunt like stereotypes...

Yeah. I'm a huge fan of Wes Craven, but I hate that people were trashing the movie just because it didn't fit his usual genre. He's free to explore & do others as he pleases.

My thoughts exactly. Directors can do whatever they want.

Come on you have to admit, the preview was very deceptive. It had you thinking that because Wes Craven made it, that it was going to be supernatural. Cillian's eye was glowing red in a scene in the previews too! So naturally, there's going to be disappointment.

why should one be disappointed? it was still a pretty good movie, he still is a master at suspense and scaring the hell out of people and that played out pretty well

Well it was still good, but as a Wes Craven fan, I was still disappointed because of the lack of the supernatural in the plot.

There's wasn't any lack of supernatural in the plot. That's not what the movie was about.

Yes it was. There was nothing supernatual in it. It should have been though. Freddy Krueger stuff or something.
