I just had an inspiring moment while watching this movie last night, so I thought I'd go with it and write up a story! So I'm hoping it isn't awful, and if it is, please let me know!
Somewhat summary: Dr. Crane is head of Arkham, and when three new patients are placed into his care, he relishes the joy of new test subjects. But what happens when one's mind is too strong for fear and his whole experiment comes crashing down on him from one simple girl? And for some lousy emotions?
CHAPTER 1--A Library?

"Calm down girl!" A voice boomed through her haunting dream.
Her eyes shot open.
Dr. Valdez.
If he's here, something important must be going on. He hardly ever visits me anymore.
"Dr.?" She questioned slowly, eyes adjusting to the intensity of the white cell.
"Yes, we're evacuating patients and I need you and a few others to be on your way already to your new home." The doctor informed her quickly.
"Wait. Where am I going? And why?"
"Andrea, I don't have time to explain this to every single patient who asks me that."
"But what about every sane person?" Andrea tried, a smile crossing the both of their lips.
Dr. Valdez was an older man, gray hairs decoratting his head in places, and dark brown eyes that held sympathy and concern for his patients.
"Alright, they're closing down this assylum for a library. All the patients are being removed, and you're one of the lucky few who get to go to Arkham."
"Arkham?!" Andrea nearly screamed, "But that's for the criminally insane! I'm not even INsane, let alone a criminal!"
"Shh! Now Mary is going to lead you to the van that's going to be taking you and two other lucky patients to the lovely Arkham." Dr. Valdez told her.
Her face went grave, "Dr. I'm not insane, you know that yourself!"
"After your suicide attempts in here from the very beginning, the government has reason to believe you are."
"For god's sakes! I'm twenty-fricken two! I haven't stepped a foot outside of this place since I was eighteen! Why am I being held in an assylum for so long?!" Andrea mused in anger to her former doctor.
He looked at her sympathetically.
"Just trust me, you'll enjoy your stay at Arkham. Mary, please show her to the van."
"That's it?! Trust you!? Just TRUST you that I'll enjoy it there, rotting away what is entirely a SANE mind?!"
The nurse grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the cell. Practically dragging the young girl by her arm, Mary opened the front door of the assylum.
Glittered in the sun's light, for what Andrea believed would be the last time she would ever feel its warmth directly on her skin, a tear dripped down her face.
It was all about trust, she realized. The whole time, her doctor had always told her to trust him. And while she was still in his immediate care, she did. But now, she had been betrayed by one of the only people who had befriended her, one of the few who she had placed trust in.
One of the last she vowed she ever would.
