Great photos betablue!  Must have felt great to have Cillian recognize you! Thanks for your review on the movie it sounds great to me can't wait to see it! It's a real shame that a lot of people in the American audience aren't more open minded when it comes movies. It seems foreign films where accents (or *gasp* subtitles) are involved or stories that are pretty dark in theme or do not have happy endings are not usually well received. These people are ruining it for the rest of us! Grrrrr Hopefully I will be proven wrong and it will get added in the US. Does anyone know how long after TIFF it takes for them to announce if movies got picked up in other countries? Anyway, thanks again!  |

I wouldn't consider those bad reviews, they just didn't rave about it. Yes we all wanted them to say it was amazing but least they didn't say his performance sucked or say "why the hell did this end up at TIFF?" Maybe Peac0ck will be his buzz worthy new film, it sure sounds like a promising one to me.... *crosses fingers*

Thanks for the update, Melty_Girl! Yeah, they didn't say that it completely 'sucked,' more like they've seen this type of film before, but I'm still a bit disappointed, too.  I loved In Bruges and was hoping it would good along those lines. I'm sure it'll be enjoyable, but it probably won't garner attention like In Bruges. I don't know about Peac0ck... it's another indie film that might be hard to connect with mainstream audiences. I'm excited for it personally, and I hope it'll get good critical response. It's got quite a stellar cast, so I'm crossing my fingers, too. |

That response is pretty disapointing (thanks for including here Melty Girl). Still at least, as Rukia and Larva mentioned, they didn't totally verbally trash it. ;-) And maybe things will turn out better with Peac*ck. I sure hope so! Anyways for one I'm not going to let that put me off watching the film when it eventually gets released over here in England. As soon as it's out at the cinema I'm definitely going to see it! |

Uggh! I am so mad! All of a sudden I can't watch videos on this computer, our player is out of date and I can't update it only the hublet who is admin. on our computer can so I have to wait on pins and needles all day to watch it! |

Does anybody know when it will be coming to the States? I think it was released in the States back in November 2009 I guess it'll be released in Ireland next! Still can't find any online info on when it's likely to be released in the UK though. Sorry to know about that Larva! Hope you get to watch it soon, and enjoy it when you do. Let us know what you think once you've seen it! |
