;D ;D ;D Just switched channels after watching a show and LO! There was Jim, peering in a window at the soldiers  ... figured we need a thread to keep each other updated, so please let us know when a CM movie is on special at the local dvd shop, or showing on tv near you, that sort of thing. So - on telly in Australia during August 05: - 28 Days Later - Foxtel Showtime (various times)
- Cold Mountain - Foxtel Movie One (various times)
Sunburn is supposedly out on DVD here by now but haven't found it yet, apparently there was a delay with the distributor. !! Sending Mr Velvet out to check the shops in town tomorrow. His movies currently in the shops are: - 28 Days Later
- Disco Pigs
- Intermission (UK edition is better - has deleted scenes the Aussie version doesn't seem to).
- Girl With A Pearl Earring
- Cold Mountain
- The Way We Live Now - ABC shop only, video only (I've seen it listed on the website, not in the shops themselves). Probably best to order from the USA as Amazon.com have it on dvd.

Yeah here on cable, Cold Mountain and 28 days later are on HBO. I haven't seen many of his movies at the store except 28 days later. I ordered "The way we live now" from amazon but haven't gotten it yet.

Thanks for the Aussie tv dates UltraVelvet, I hope they apply to Austar as well. I don't know about tv dates, but I know that the Australian release date for Red Eye is September 1 (same as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). My bestie and I are going to an old imax theatre to watch them (she has a Johnny Depp obsession to match my Cillian one)  |

Aw... that would be so cool. I gather Batman Begins was in IMAX in the US. There's no listing for Red Eye coming up in Sydney or Melbourne on the imax website, sadly. I'll be seeing it opening night somewhere though!
Hunny, the tv dates probably do apply to Austar, I think you guys get the same channels mostly?

I live on the Gold Coast, I'm going to catch a train to the southbank cinemas in Brisbane. They were previously a full-on imax, but then reverted back to showing normal release movies (now known as the Southbank 5 cinema complex. I'm just still used to calling it 'the imax'). Thankfully they kept the massive 25 metre cinemascope screens so I can still enjoy the Cillian big-screen experience. (They're the biggest in Brizzie  ) Sorry if I got you all excited about an imax Cill in Sydney and Melbs, maybe you can fly up to Brizzie for the day and watch him there! |

I saw Disco Pigs, 28 Days Later and Intermission in the video rental shop, I'm not sure if On The Edge is there to cause I didn't found it but it was in the computer.
In here I saw Free Record Shop and some others selling Intermission and 28 Days Later, that's all. Well Cold Mountain goes for both also but Cillian isn't much in it right?
Batman will defitinely come to the shops but I've been thinking, what if Red Eye isn't coming to Holland? That would really suck so I'm searching on the internet if it is coming to Holland or not.

I'm not sure about theaters here (cause in my area they suck and don't play good ones) but you can go to video stores and buy all the ones that are out. I have no movie channels like HBO and stuff, they played 28 Days Later! Ok, I KNOW you can get all them on the net, either at WalMart, Amazon, or BestBuy....or I have totally lost faith in all of them. *runs off to do some major searching for movies*

My Intermission DVD doesn't seem to have any deleted scenes at all! Anyway, I yesterday got a status e-mail about my order. Disco Pigs is going to be here in the beginning of next week, and On the Edge still has to arrive at their place.
Haven't seen anything new in here, there isn't going to be something Cillian on tv, and I haven't found new Cillian DVD's yet either T.T
