I hope not. But I guess if that's all he has we'll take what we can get. All these rumors have got my hopes up and I just want him to be in it. Surely Cillian would have said something by now if he wasn't in it?

I understand not having Joker or even mentioning him. But if Nolan doesn't show what happened to Joker and Scarecrow it'll be very weird. I mean we know what happened to Ra's and Two-Face so it'd be nice if the other two were at least explained better...

If he's returning I hope it's for longer than he returned in The Dark Knight. To me, that appearance was frustrating and pointless. It was like Chris Nolan was saying "This is what you want and this is what you're not going to get, but I'll just remind you he exists to annoy you that little bit more."

There's been a press screening for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, here's a comment about Cillian's cameo on it... www.rfingers34.com/urging-forward-of-their-seat-as-though-by-gravitational-compel-also-nolan/. That it was also excellent to check out Cillian Murphy back again for the reason that Scarecrow despite the fact that they did a terrific occupation from the first just one, We appeared to be still let down that he failed to receive more than enough screen time in the actual flick in support of made an appearance quickly in the early stages because it could have been recently fantastic to check out the pup form mafias by using couple of deal with in addition to joker that might possess manufactured this movie far more improved having 3 villains. Its an opportunity which he can visit from the third batman dvd to be a full time villain that is definitely should there be just one

Yeah, that's a little confusing, to say the least. I'm trying to figure out if Cillian is actually in it, or if the person is speculating... Looks like it's been auto-translated from another language.

It seems that the person is talking about The Dark Knight dvd, not The Dark Knight Rises screening. In the CinemaCon screening, only a five minute sizzle reel was shown, so the person who wrote that thing could not have possibly seen the whole movie. There are no mentions of Bane or Selina Kyle in the write-up, instead the writer talks about The Joker and Harvey Dent, who as far as I know are not in the upcoming Batman, but played a big part in the previous one. Here's an article about the CinemaCon thing: www.superheroauthority.com/2012/04/dark-knight-rises-spoiler-five-minutes.html

Oh, sorry about the confussion...I'm a mess concerning Batman, is not all of my thing and only saw it (by chance, because it was on tv) because Cillian was on it. But what I've since from him on that one was not a cameo at all..not much screen time, but not a cameo, definitely. Instead, I bet that for TDKR it will be a proper cameo (maybe 2 minutes screen time or less)

It's OK, Dulcemirita. I'm not a proper geek either, but enough to go see all Nolan's Batman films whether or not Cillian is in them. There was speculations concerning Scarecrow's role in the third one, so you weren't completely off track. The text was very difficult to read, so confusions are to be expected after reading it. I will go see TDKR as soon as it comes out in any case, but I really really want to know if Scarecrow is in it before I go. That's why I'm glad it comes out in my country 5 days after the world premiere. ;D I won't have to wonder if he's in it during the film. If I had to, it might make focusing on the essential a little difficult and take something out of experiencing the film. Yeah, the problems of being a fangirl...
