Yes and sometimes good actors cannot find work while the lousiest slobs get to ruin perfectly fine movies. You find people like Michael Fassbender unemployed for years while the most plastic faces in the universe find a job. I think Cillian was quite lucky, compared to other young actors, and at 36 he boasts a very impressive CV, he got good roles even when he was very young, he managed to show his talent. At least, it's a really impressive CV for anyone who understands a bit of cinema. Of course the unattentive moviegoer who goes to the local cinema to much on popcorn does not have any idea who he is... I have absolutely no problem with this, it gives him more privacy and this is good, but my only wish is he can choose whatever he wants and good scripts come his way.

It's like walking in a room full of people who are starving with a pizza box in your hands, letting the aroma waft over everyone, lifting the lid and allowing a nice lingering look at the delicious pie, then closing the box and leaving the room. WTF?? Haha! Good description Pisces! (and now I'm hungry, thanks... ) Yeah, cameos are an absolute TEASE ! Really unfair. It's a tease for the audience, especially for fans. But I don't think it's somehow unfair to the actor himself. On the contrary, for an actor, a cameo is actually an honour. IF the directer and the movie is good and well known etc. And also we shouldn't forget that for Cillian himself maybe a cameo role is much more fun to play than for us to watch. For us it's a few minutes, for him maybe a whole day of exciting work with an director and with actors he likes to work with. And it is a huge challenge for his acting skills, to get as much possible out of such short appearance. If we take Dillinger as an example... ( ) Amazing how he interpreted that character so vivid in only a few minutes ! Btw: I can understand that Crane has not a big part in TDKR(as well as TDK) because too much villians in one movie maybe a bit confusing. And I can understand Nolans decision here. Actually I think, his part in Batman Begins should have been bigger to begin with...

Just diverting slightly... a few years ago, Gotham City was built in Cardington Hangars not far from me. BB TDK and Inception were filmed there I had a friend on police duty there and he got to see the set! Lucky bugger. Chris Nolan likes it there for the massive sets he uses. In fact, the skiing scenes in Inception were filmed around the corner from me again when I was in Kananaskis/Canmore that year 2009/2010! I learned to ski a few weeks after Cillian LOL I should've skied in Nolans general direction and have a word with him. Put a bit of pressure on him yer know.... after I learned how to stop.... ;D And I agree Pisces... as much as there are superb actors out there, he is better than anybody.

Be patient, I think he will be in the movie, just not in the trailers, he's a surprise, though everyone understood he's in the movie

They are really creating expectative.... BTW, Leyla, you're totally right! I prefere to keep Cillian as our little treasure as long as he has the chance to choose what he wants to do and enjoy it!

I really hope this is for real... There's a whole series of similar posters like this, including this one...

To me, they both look hand made; I really think that Cillian is just going to be in the movie for like 5 seconds just like last time---which sucks.
but these posters do look cool though.

Yeah, I suspected that as well, Bunnie. I just wanted so much to believe! I suppose five seconds is better than nothing, but I'm really hoping they don't do that again. What would be the point?

In my opinion it's fake. It's extremely good for an amateur photoshop artwork, but it's not good enough for such a high budget blockbuster movie. It just looks too synthetic. @ Cait: Btw... I love your sig ! Makes hungry for more. ;D

I agree, Zombie, it does look too synthetic. Also, I've just noticed his hair. It looks how it did in these photos: www.cilliansite.com/gallery/photoshoots/ph-unk-2009I guess this is what happens when I use tumblr as a source! Ha. @ Cait: Btw... I love your sig ! Makes hungry for more. ;D Oh, thank you! I hope to make more soon.
