Well, I've ended up watching a lot of French films when I was in France ...
One that comes to mind (that I can't unfortunately remember the title to) was Belgian, an animated short that followed a man through a choice he made with 3 possible outcomes. Awesome.
I like Monsoon Wedding a lot too (is that considered a foreign film?).

Love foreign films, just wish I had access to more of them here. I do like French films, Audrey Tautou's stuff is great. As I had mentioned in another thread, Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain and Un long dimanche de fiançailles were beautiful movies. Also Le Pacte Des Loups was a great movie. Like some Japanese movies as well, but really I'm not picky about what country the movie is from. Now if I can only find Disco Pigs I'll have another foreign film to add to my list.
Trainspotting was an amazing movie! I like Y Tu Mama Tambien as well.

I like some foreign films. They come on the Independent Film Channel all the time and I love that channel! I have seen some of the best movies shown on there. Movies I've never even heard of! Anyway, I watched this movie on there about a month ago called An Affair of Love. It was in French. It was about these two people who met in a restaurant and just decided to go to a hotel room and sleep together. And throughout the movie it showed these two people talking about their sexual relationship, how they did nothing but meet up in that restaurant and then go across the street to the hotel and go to bed. These people didn't even know each other's name! The outcome was that these two people realized they had nothing in common and had to go their separate ways. It was a good movie. It didn't show anything until right towards the end when the man let the woman be in control. But it was a very good movie. Foreign films aren't my fave but some I do like. ~LaTissa~

I love Foreign films! Some of my faves are The Bicycle Thief, this has to be the best film about a father and son relationship... The Decalogue man, this nine part film really makes you thinks about about morals and ethics, very intense film. L'AVVENTURA- where's Anna? We see her in the beginning, she goes for a swim and never see her again. I will think of more later, I just woke up.

My tiny list (excluding anime and such):
+- Battle Royale (Japan) +- Onmyoji (Japan) +- Raise the Red Lantern (China) +- My Father's Glory (France)
I'm dying to see Suicide Circle, Battle Royale II (even though I KNOW it sucks), Nosferatu, and Ichi the Killer. Oh, and more Akira Kurosawa stoof. Yar.
