I havnt looked at this thread in a while...I love Leigh..and James...I thought the first saw movie was much better then #2 but the second one was based on a story called "the desperate" by Darren Lynn Bousman (director of SawII) and then morphed into a Saw movie by Leigh Whannel

I thought Saw was great and very freaky, but Saw 2... I really don't know what to say. It really made me sick, and don't get me wrong, I love horror movies and all, but I guess that was just too much. It was still brilliantly made, with all the twists and stuff. The thing that really did it for me was the part when that woman from the first Saw got thrown into the pit of syringes. My god! I was literally cringing as the boy tried to help take them out of her.

I really want to watch these movies but I rented the first one when it came out and spent my time hiding behind my hands, then when it got to the one with the jaw thingy one I had to turn it off...I'm a wimp, lol.
I think I might try watching them again though, it might have just been the mood I was in.
Also, I think it's quite disturbing that watching people getting tortured is what we watch for entertainment.

I agree, ashlee, about how disturbing it is to entertain ourselves by watching people get tortured in movies. I try to kinda avoid movies with that particular plot, but it is hard to do. I think that's basically the reason why I didn't like Saw 2 very much. I was basically disgusted with how the directors and producers came up with all those ways to have the people die or be tortured. I remember thinking, ' What kind of a mind do these people have to think up all that gruesome stuff?!' Lol. But it does bother me that so many movies like Saw 2 are beginning to be released close together now. I always fear that hollywood keeps giving serial killers these brilliant ways to torture and murder people.

omg, i could watch these movies any time anywhere, omg. i cannot wait until october when the 3rd one comes out, hm i wonder how twisted Amanda will be, shes a girl so you never know LOL

I miss adam...the first time I watched saw I thought he was going to get out and Lawrence would be trapped...gee...I cried for a whole 20 minutes and then my friend slapped me and yelled at me because I was crying for a stupid reason...im sad now...shouldnt have started thinking about that...I love his attitude in the movie though...the character himself is so dramatic and sarcastic

omg i know, he was awesome he cracked me up, i love the part when he looks in the toilet full of you know what and hes like gaging and then he looks in the back of the toilet and was like, maybe i should have looked there first LOL i cracked up after i barfed from the scene LOL
