Has anyone got a pic of him standing next to Christian Bale? The ones I can think of don't show them both standing. That should be a good indicator. The most convincing argument, though, for me, was Cillian himself saying if they'd hired him to play Batman they'd have had to hire midgets to be the bad guys.

haha. I remember him saying that. He's so cute to make fun of himself. I'm 5'0 so anything taller than that is good for me.

I always thought he might be around my height ( the movies make it look so) and I'm about 5'8, 5'9. Obviously wrong, since I see now that I am probably pretty tall compared to him. Is he probably about 5'5 or 5'6?

If it's any help, when I met him during the 'Watching the Detectives" shoot he seemed quite short, I'm 5'4", and his armpit was at my shoulder length when we took the photo, and we were both wearing flats...Not sure what exact height he is though XD

Ooh...I should probably mention that I'm Annie, the one who went to the shoot in Scotch Plains...duurrr... I haven't been on the board in a while....that and I've been awake since yesterday morning, and I'm highly delusional right now

I read what you wrote and...wow, what an unforgettable day. And I agree 100%, his eyes are amazing up close. Pictures don't do him justice. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I think most of the info submitted to IMDB comes from fans, usually, not the individuals or their representatives. I've never read Cillian's height listed anywhere else, so I'd rather trust the impressions of the fans who have met him, over information from an unknown source.
