I always find that running at gorgeous famous guys in public places naked with EAT ME written in chocolate across my chest makes them run the wrong way! Well, I don't know about anyone else, but I would pay good money to see video of this!!

You guys mean to tell me if you saw Cillian you wouldn't approach him? I honestly don't know if I would have the guts to but if I did wouldn't you guys absolutely LOVE me for getting his autograph and better yet a pic? IF he obliges of course!
I totally understand that celebrities are people first and they need their privacy too but remember celebrities make a hefty amount of money and alot of it is due to us fans, I am not saying we have the right to harrass them, but if were courteous in our approach (and also reasonable, depending on what their doing) why can't they be?
I once saw Ethan Hawke with his lil daughter in the village about 4 years ago, they were buying ice cream, my friend and I were a lil in shock but we didn't dare approach them b/c that would be disrespectful to his family time.....but guys come on...Cillian Murphy! this is the heartthrob we spend all of our time mooning over! lol for my sake could you at least wave? ;D

I wouldn't approach him, no -- and for more than one reason maybe. I have never wanted to meet a celebrity as a "fan" and I'm not interested in autographs. Now if I could meet him somewhere as just another human being, say at a dinner party or something...that would be different. Although I know from experience that doesn't always turn out the way one would hope, either. Celebrities truly are just ordinary people, after all. What we see on stage and screen is about illusion and the reality may or may not be the same. Maybe I just prefer to let that stand and enjoy it for what it is. I think the greater the extent of my admiration, the more I feel this way. And I admire Cillian a LOT. Heh. I will absolutely take a peek at any photos you bring though -- and be oh so grateful!

I don't care where I'm at, I'm a fly on the wall and have no courage to speak. If ever I do bump into him, I hope to god, Gracey is there with me because...

And I'll live vicariously through Gracey's stories, I guess because Jo apparently won't have any and neither will I.

Bobby, we'll both live vicariously through Gracey.
I had a moment once with a musician (not that well known) in an elevator. It was just so peculiar because my friend and I flew all the way to London to see him perform and by god and by perchance, he happened to be staying in the same hotel as us. So, lo and behold when he stepped in the elevator with us, I had about flipped out and got my tongue caught by the goddam cat! My friend, though, was brave enough to strike an unassuming conversation about the previous night's show, commenting on how we thoroughly enjoyed. I stupidly just nodded the entire time, of course. Oh and to top it off, the very next day, during breakfast, he and his family were seated next to us in the hotel's restaurant. UnF'nbelievable. Still, moi!
I am such a loser!

Oh my god, I have a stalking story about the Chateau Marmont. Many years ago, a few friends and I were on the Sunset strip and ended up the hotel. Keanu had just walked in, so a couple of my friends, not me, went to search for him. When they came back to the car, they had taken his "Do Not Disturb" sign from "his" room. ;D I was so ashamed and still am today.
