Ohhh Cait !!!! You really made out a collage of the most suggestive screencaps so that the whole creation looks as if... well... something else is going on. LOL I love it 'cause I always felt that sexual vibe in that scene too. (For me the most erotic part is when Jackson recovers Lisas scar... ) And in my opinion the scene in the movie was actually built to appear suggestive. I have no problem with that. I love fantasies about strong men taking control. Many women have fantasies of violent sex or even rape fantasies. It is damn weird and disturbing and I can't really explain it, 'cause rape is probably the most traumatic thing that could happen to a women ! And movies or stories (I'm not talking about Red Eye !!) where rape is romanticized and made harmless are bad... It's certainly a topic you have to go deep in the psych for. And I won't dare to do that 'cause this is not my language and I don't want not be mistaken ! But it's a very interesting topic you started with your creation, Cait. And I think erotic fantasies are something so individual, emotional and primitive that you can't hold back what you dream about, even if it is something that doesn't fit in in a world of free and strong and liberated feministic women. For sexuality is much, much older than us humans...

I might even add that it takes a strong woman indeed to own her fantasies; embrace them rather than deny them, and understand the deeper psychology behind them. There are many things under the sun, and they don't all need to make sense to other people.

For sexuality is much, much older than us humans... Oh Zombiekitten, THANK YOU for saying this! I feel the exact same way! I don't know whether that scene was meant to be suggestive or not, but I definitely picked up on it, and I've always imagined it playing out that way. I always just let my fantasies go where they want to, because like you said, you can't hold it back, and why on Earth would you want to!? I have no problem with that. I love fantasies about strong men taking control. ME TOO, and I always have, and I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I might even add that it takes a strong woman indeed to own her fantasies; embrace them rather than deny them, and understand the deeper psychology behind them. There are many things under the sun, and they don't all need to make sense to other people. Completely agree with you, Pisces! The mind has always been fascinating to me, and I love my mind, I love the places it can take me, and the best part is - it's mine, and no one can change it. This is my film, and I'm the director. Thank you for the support ladies, I knew you'd appreciate the Jackson/Lisa fantasy. Here's to keeping it alive (I'm sure that won't be a problem. )! Edit: PISCES!!! Your signature... unf! Gosh, I just LOVE that casino scene. He really is the most interesting man in the world!

I think the reason some of us relish the fantasy of a man taking control is because in our real, day to day lives, we ourselves are so very much IN control. We have responsibilities, jobs, relationships, and after a time, all of that control can feel burdensome. There is a certain, specific release - a relief - in handing yourself over to a powerful male and letting him happen to you physically, as a force of nature might. To me, that brings about a crucial balance of the psyche. Yin and Yang type thing. I can't and don't want to run everything. It literally feels good to give up that control once in a while. So I think that's part of why the infamous bathroom scene resonates so strongly for so many women. My SIL, who is not even a Cillian fan specifically, never fails to point out that "that scene is freakin' hot!" ;D The reason it seems so sexual is elementary - they're in close quarters, Jackson's holding her face at nearly kissing distance, and they're both breathing hard. And, as Zombie pointed out, he gently pulls aside the neck of her top with his thumb, which he certainly did not have to do. It's always been my opinion that the scene was intentionally laced with sexual overtones, which were of course meant to underscore Lisa's fear due to her earlier trauma (which we don't yet know about at that point)... but has the interesting side effect of being dangerously erotic to most female fans. I count myself among them. Cait, love what you said about being your own director in your mind - that's how I've always seen it as well. That's the cool thing about fantasies - their yours, and no one can take them away or taint them.

Pisces, I just can't WAIT to see your sketch of Jackson. Coming from you, it's bound to be amazing. ;D I got a sudden burst of creativity myself, and hadn't created anything substantial in Photoshop for quite some time. So, I'll show you two new artworks. I hope you like them! I call this one Pig and Runt's Kingdom... Attachments:

OMFG I freakin' LOVE it!!! Kind of Jack and Leese with a Sin City twist to it... As for a title, how about Control...? AMAZING JOB!!! (Think the sketch is done; gonna let it sit overnight so I can look at it with fresh eyes tomorrow. It's okay, not amazing. First drawing I've done in at least 15 years, and I had all but lost my technique. It's more of an experiment than anything else - please don't expect Zombiekitten-like skills! LMAO!)

OHHHH CAIT !!! HOW BEAUTIFUL !!!! First I thought that those are photos but they are kind of digital art drawings !! *eyes pop out of my face* How have you done them ? They look flawlessly beautiful. I love those sharp shadings and the lightning you used. The one with Runt and Pig is looking so romantic and beautiful... *sighs* I could imagine movie posters created by you from every Cillian movie ... And you have such a good feeling for colors. I'm always amazed about how you use colors. Everything is in perfect harmony.... And also you have an eye for bulding up an artwork, for creating a picture. I wish I had such a knowledge about digital arts... I'm just using custom brushes to color something and I'm always jealous of people who can create such beauty with their digital art skills... It is amazing... Jackson.... his hair... I LOVE how you have done this. Pisces: Can't wait to see your sketch !!!! I'm so excited to see a Jackson drawing from your hands. I bet you had fun with him... Hehehe.

Thank you Pisces, that's exactly the kind of effect I was going for! Control sounds perfect for it, so that's what I'll call it. Thank you! OHHHH CAIT !!! HOW BEAUTIFUL !!!! It is amazing... Jackson.... his hair... I LOVE how you have done this. You have no idea how much that means coming from YOU, Zombiekitten!!! ;D I'm so glad you like them, especially the one of Pig and Runt! *squee* I had always wanted to create their "kingdom", so this is my interpretation. That comment about seeing me making movie posters, that is one of the best compliments you could give me, because I dream of doing things like that someday! Thank you so much for your kind words. To achieve the "digital art" effect, well, I really wish I could say I drew them from scratch, but I can't draw to save my life! I used the pen tool in Photoshop to select sections of the image, and then coloured them in. It took me hours, especially the hair. I started to go cross-eyed shading individual strands of hair, lol! So I couldn't do all of the hair, it was just endless! After that, I added a couple of filters to make it look more realistic, smudged away any flaws I saw (Lisa's nose was a mess, lol!). Pig and Runt's Kingdom is made up of four photos in total, all blended together. I'm so pleased that you all like them! Especially since they're digital, and not actual drawings. ;D

Well, here goes... lol... It didn't come out as well as I'd hoped, but then again, I chose a difficult shot for a first re-attempt, lol. Head-on angles are the WORST, which I had mercifully forgotten over the years. Not to mention the fact that I didn't remember basic techniques (some of which I rediscovered halfway through this drawing, lol). And boy, did I get lazy on the hair. His lips gave me fits... and not in a good way. But I was relatively happy with the eyes: Anyway, it was really fun to do. I'd also forgotten how relaxing it is to sit and draw. But I have to admit, I've grown so accustomed to doing art via photoshop that I sorely missed that UNDO feature. LOL. The next one will be better, I promise!

OMFG!!! OMFG!!! OMFG!!! Pisces, it's AMAZING!!! THIS is what you can do after 15 years of NOT drawing!? I'm amazed, I'm truly amazed! And so so so jealous!! I really need to take drawing lessons!! For me, the best part is the eyes, you drew them to perfection. You captured the icy stare of Jackson perfectly. Icy, yet eloquent - WOW! And his LIPS, unf! I love how lightly you draw, it's beautiful, and ethereal. He just glows! Amazing, Pisces, I really want to see MORE very soon. CB!!! ;D
