I couldn't choose only one I think. In my life I've seen a lot of what was really important to me. I would say(in no particular order...) The Pixies Morrissey PJ Harvey The Hives Grandaddy... There are so good musical moments but i will stop with these five! I've seen some of you chose NIN. I've seen them in Paris last month... it was quite impressive actually. I really like... Jerome Dillon(the drummer ;D)

My brother is a very big Air Supply fan so we went to their concert in like 1995 or something(they're are an old band from the 80's) the concert was totally awesome....they really pay attention to the crowd....and you just gotta love old 80's love songs... *swoon*

I have to add the 'Topless Open Air', which was really fun... We decided to spontaneously attend it on Sunday, and had a hell of a good time. The music was nice, but best thing were the people around.

Anyone into Coldplay? I will be at their concert this fall and I am psyched! Their music is total Cillian-inspiration to me =oD I'll be seeing Coldplay in September. I'm so excited..I can hardly breathe! Their music is very personal to me and it's gotten me through a lot of tough times.
As for my favorite so far, it's really hard to pick. Last year I saw The Pixies and Elvis Costello, both were incredible. I was in front for both shows. However, both Rufus Wainwright and Badly Drawn Boy were smaller, more intimate shows and I got to meet and hang out with both after so...it was amazing for me! ;D

Best concert, best concert, hmm . . .
No argument - Marilyn Manson, Against All Gods, AZ. *nod nod* Yup. Love Manson. He's a fabulous performer. Plus, he wasn't too vulgar in this one at all (not that I care for vulgarity, just figured others might though). I wish he'd go on another tour real soon, but I bet it'll be like ten more years or something. T_T

One was when I finally saw Linkin Park (for free cause I was in the fan club) at Roseland in NY, That was soo damn awesome, finally seeing them in person and playing live Loved it!
also, I saw JC Chasez twice in concert and let me tell you that was the best night of my life, he performances where right on track (no ashley simpson lip synching here, I know about the backing vocals)but when he was on, it was all him LIVE!!
Loved both shows!

I really can not chose one favorite.
The Fiery Furnaces! They are so weird that they are awesome! I got to the concert venue really early and the band came out and chatted with people in line for a while. They are really entertaining (the drummer is a real hoot!) and I hung out around the stage talking to fans after most people had already filtered out of the venue. My boyfriend and I had a nice chat with the band about really random things. The concert as a whole was amazing!
But Sigur Ros seriously blew me away. I went with a friend and before the show I thought they were kind of boring but the music was really moving and beautiful and now they are one of my favorite bands.
I was very impressed by Interpol when I saw them a few of years ago. Franz Ferdinand was also really fun.

Coincidentally, the best and by far, my favorite concert was an Irish bands'. I went to the opening night in San Diego, so awesome. My friend and I sat behind the stage, but their was a catwalk around it so the lead singer would keep circling it. THe best part, however was when the lead singer took the microphone, came behing the drummer on the catwalk and sang a whole number just to our section! SIGH, they're GREAT!!! I looooove the lead singer. Not as much as Cillian of course, but I love their songs! BTW, can you guys guess who I'm talking about!!? *wink wink*

I too love Coldplay but I have a nagging feeling that Cillian isn't with us on that one - his tastes seem pretty eclectic, though Kings of Leon have turned out to be pretty great. I wonder if Cillian would fly to Nashville to catch them in concert...
Any NIN show is awesome because of the artistry, you can't beat a Neil Finn show for improv comedy and a sense of community, Coldplay in Nashville for the last tour was so awesome, and Foo Fighters with Pete Yorn opening was a surprisingly good combo.
