oooh i love concerts. i havent been to much, but my favorite by faaaaar was seeing the Killers at the Wiltern LG in hollywood. i was at the pitt, 2 people away from Brandon Flowers!! (dream come true) and the san diego street scene was pretty awesome stuff too.. its an annual music festival that had: the killers (of course!!), pixies, the white stripes, social distortion, 311, black eyed peas, garbage, flaming lips, unwritten law, dashboard confessional, flogging molly, rise against, louis xiv, kasabian, hot hot heat (MY LOVE!) and the von bondies among others. i would love to see coldplay though. i adore them.

I went to Britney Spear's concert when her first CD had just come out, then I went a Weird Al Concert, and a Goo Goo Dolls concert last year. Weird Al was the most fun, but the Goo Goo Dolls sounded great.

Hi guys! I'm a huge Dwight Yoakam fan (country singer and actor) and I have been for about ten years. I am so in love with him! And I went to my first concert of his on August 4th of this year in Ruston, Louisiana. It was a great show! It was an outdoor concert, and if you've ever spent 6-7 hours outdoors, in August, in Louisiana, then you know how bad that heat is. OMG it was so freakin' hot that my clothes were sticking to me! But Dwight, bless his heart. He was sweating so much that it looked like someone had just hosed him down. And he was wearing along sleeve shirt! When he came back for his encore he had unbuttoned that shirt and the white tanktop that he had on underneath was sticking to his skin! I thought I was gonna die when I saw that! He's known for wearing skintight jeans and I was so much in denial that I was actually in the front row looking up at him and seeing him in those jeans. He does all these sexy dance moves with his legs and waist (just like Elvis Presley used to do) while playing the guitar and I got to witness him doing that! And he sang all my favorite hits of his and then some. And he looked at me and smiled at me several times!! And then afterward I got an autographed picture, although I didn't get to meet him. But I did get to meet his guitarist, Keith Gattis, right beside Dwight's tour bus. And I got a T-shirt and a coffee mug from the souvenir stand. So yes, that is the best concert I've ever been to. And it was standing too! I had to stand for 6-7 hours out in the scorching heat in August in Louisiana! That is the worst! But it was my love Dwight that I was seeing and it was so worth it! I just love to tell that story! Hope you enjoyed it! ~LaTissa~ P.S. And in 11 days I'm gonna see Dwight again in Atlanta, Ga and then two days after that I'll see him in Huntsville, Alabama! Life is sweet!!!!!!!

Audioslave @ Helsinki Icehall on June the 29th this year. It was absolutely amazing..Chris looked and sounded fabolous..Tom was still the amazing, adorable guitargod, Tim was great and Brad certainly had his rhythm right! My favorite moment in the concert was when Tom smiled to me..I felt very dizzy at that moment 'cause it was Tom Morello..wow..And a bit later on in the concert I got a smile from Chris himself..Chris Cornell..I couldn't believe it. I'm definitely going to see them when they come to Finland next year!

Haven't had too many concerts here, but I remember, about 13 years ago, two Canadian bands, Our Lady Peace and I Mother Earth performed at a small club here, I was underage and it was my first concert. The place was packed, I was about 2 feet away from the stage...the adrenaline flowing through that place was incredible. I've never felt more exhilarated...Our Lady Peace stood out the most (I think they'd just put out their first cd then).

I've been to so many it's really hard to choose. Ones that i can say without doubt were standout gigs were: ~ Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band. Seen them 5 times now and they're always just stunning. You're guaranteed to be on a high for days after one of their gigs! ~ Ryan Adams and the Cardinals. That one night was like a little piece of musical heaven. I had been waiting years to see them, was completely obsessed and i was blown away. They're ten times better live. All the guitar solos and jamming on songs and draggin them out. If they ever come back i'll be first in line! ~ Arcade Fire. Just so much fun, loads of energy, crowd singing along and dancing around. Plus we were right up front. And smaller indoor gigs: ~ Foy Vance. He has a small and extremely devoted following and we sing along louder than any other crowd. Sometimes he seems so stunned by this reaction that he's on the verge of tears. And at one gig he got the whole audience to sing along to a song, and keep singing after he'd left the stage. It continued for about 5 minutes after he'd left. I don't think anyone else could get a crowd to do that and keep it going. Plus he's one of the nicest and funniest guys you could meet. ~ Villagers. What can i say. Just class. Conor O'Brien is a genius. ~ Fionn Regan. Seen him twice and just love him. ~ Rufus Wainwright. His voice is so clear and powerful and he's got a great sense of humour. Plus he dressed up as a woman and did Get Happy! ;D ~ The Low Anthem. They are extremely talented and Ben is such a perfect gentlemean, shaking hands with everyone after the gig, signing autographs and thanking them for coming. So yeah......that's a long list. Oh and i've seen Kings of Leon 3 times. First time was brilliant(about 4 years ago now)- i've never been so sweaty of squashed in my life, second was ok and the third was brilliant again. One thing that annoys me is that their setlists are always very similar and they never change songs around at all or do something a bit different. I think they're too busy posing now and afraid they might mess up their hair. I mean i still think the first 2 albums are absolutely class, the 3rd is great but the latest is not my thing at all. I hope the new one is better- i'm praying they'll go back to the old more raw stlye instead of the current over produced, very commercial sound. Though judging by the single the just released it doesn't sound like i'll get my wish.
