Hello everybody!
I just saw "Edge of love" some days ago and I am curious about your opinion.
To me, Cillian is great, as ever, but the film doesn't have much of a plot.
What did you think of the film?

I loved the movie and I think the performances were great. Mind you, I'm a Keira Knightley, Sienna Miller & Cillian fan so I am absolutely not being objective at all!

I couldn't wait...I'm watching it right now...in english...anyway...I captured this for you ... Wow, thanks for this screenshot of Cillian! He looks absolutely gorgeous! (Only Cillian can make smoking look sexy. ) And you were able to actually watch The Edge of Love? Without giving away any spoilers, how did you like it? You're so lucky! I really miss watching a new Cillian movie. This Cillian drought has been going on long enough already! |

Hehe, Melty ;D I remember that thread, I was hoping someone maybe in the meanwhile had actually written to her and obtained permissions...well anyway, I'll talk about this later in the appropriate topic SaintKitten- WOW- love the pic!!! Anytime you feel like posting more....!! ;D Of course!....Here are a couple more :   Without giving away any spoilers, how did you like it? You're so lucky! I really miss watching a new Cillian movie. This Cillian drought has been going on long enough already! I have to say I liked the movie, it is a good story about how love, friendship and rivalry can be mixed up together, live together, how confused human relationships oftenly are, and how painful it could be when love misleads you....altogether, a movie that is worth seeing (and not only because there is our darling ). I wonder if that Dylan Thomas was really such a selfish a***ole in real life....good God, I hated his character by the end of the movie  I've found Cillian's performance as great as always, giving life to a really human and touching character. Believe me, Captain Killick is a sort of "Prince Charming" every girl has always dreamt of ;D I've also liked Sienna's and Keira's performances as well, especially Keira , who, you know, is one of my favs, and she is extremely gorgeous in this movie (even though her character , Vera, kinda gets on my nerves). |

P.S. Yeah! I've just read in a web article that "The Edge Of Love" will be presented here in Italy at the next Film festival in Turin . (21st-28th of November) .  |

I don't think The Edge of Love will be released in my country. It's a pitty cause I'd really like to watch him on the big screen! I want to buy the movie RIGHT AWAY but I'll have to wait until some acquaintance travels abroad.  (I had to download the movie from torrent, mininova.org) |

Saintkitten- OMG that one of him leaning in the doorway is just gorgeous!!  Thank you so much for sharing these!! I have been so starved for new pics of Cillian, and though I prefer him with more hair, these are so fantastic to see! |

Sigh, I love a man in uniform. Anyway, I don't mean to be biased or anything, but I thought his performance was the strongest out of the four. Keira and Sienna also gave great performances. I thought Matthew was the weakest link though; I wasn't really convinced why Caitlin and Vera were so attracted to him. He wasn't that charismatic or charming. Maybe it's not really Matthew's fault but more due to the script. Anyway, Sienna's not too bad of an actress really, but I think her bad publicity really taints her talent. I can't really get myself to like her. |
