Man, he looks just like my dad, circa 1949. Only my dad had blue eyes.
(... I'm feeling very confused right now...!)
Very pretty music over at the site, from composer Brian Reitzell. Will be picking up the soundtrack... if they're kind enough to release it. (Here's hoping we're not in for another Sunshine-style debacle...!)

Thanks, Mitzi! I just saw this last night as well. Thanks for posting. Just when I was about to lose hope for this movie, we finally have some updates on it! I hope this means it's going to get a release date soon. When do you guys think it's going to be released? Do you think they'll wait to make their rounds at the film festivals later this year? I think that might be a good move to wait for the festivals. The site looks great! I like the stills. Cillian looks so different with brown eyes. I can't help but laugh at his grimaces and facial expressions. His character's supposed to be meek and awkward, right, so I guess it goes with his character. I like how they don't really reveal how his character's female personality looks like. Very mysterious. But I'm guessing it's going to be reminiscent of Kitten. Hope we hear more from this soon! ;D

Holy crap.....Those pictures are seiously weird! Brown eyes......brown...on Cillian. I knew he had brown eyes in it but i wasn't prepared for how much it would change his whole face. He looks like a different man.....i think it's the furrowed brow too. Anyway i can't wait for it to be released. I don't know when they'll be releasing it but i'd say they'd probably wait for the festivals. Then again maybe not, you never know.

I agree, Kim! I knew he was going to have brown eyes, but I was a bit shocked when I saw these pics. The eyes totally changed his look. And the faces that he's making, too. Oh well. If it's for his character, then it's totally fine.

No wonder he looked different... I couldn't pinpoint what it was that made him look so different... Those killer eyes...

I have to admit I'm finding it pretty hard to believe that's actually him - though at the same time know it must be!

It's funny, but can you guys believe that some people are actually doubting that it's Cillian in these pics? LOL. They think it's someone else. He looks different, yes, with the brown contacts, but it's not like he did a 360, Charlize Theron- Monster type transformation. I mean, since he's headlining this movie, who else would it be?

I'm not saying that I don't believe it's him! (lol!) Just that it wasn't an easy thing to do (for me anyway and at least to begin with!) given I wasn't prepared for exactly how different he'd look in those pics. Maybe it's just me, but I find him near (though not completely) unrecognizable in them!

I wasn't talking about you, Emma. (hugs) I was just talking generally from what I've seen people talking elsewhere (not any of you guys here). It just kinda amused me. I think we were all taken aback by Cillian with brown eyes. It wasn't too drastic, but yes, I was surprised at how different he looked as well.

Ah sorry for misunderstanding Rukia! I thought you were referring to that earlier post of mine. - but obviously got the wrong idea I get what you're saying now. *returns hug* lol I guess I'm not so different from those other people though, as my initial reaction was the same. I literally thought 'Jeez can that really be him? Surely not!' but then after looking at the pictures again realised there were certain things I recognised and that it was. I agree that it's as much down to the facial expressions as the brown colour of his eyes, as to why he looks so different though (is it me, or does his mouth also look changed? It looked to me in those shots as if his lips looked thinner than usual too) If it weren't for that I'm sure I'd have recognised him more easily. Goes to show how talented he is though - that he can make his face look that different to normal just through the facial expressions he chooses to use - impressive stuff! ;D Anyways am also really looking forward to this movie! Those pics have me even more intrigued now and it's looking to me as if it'll be a really interesting movie to check out (as well as looking to me like the character Cillian's playing could well be amongst the most complex and interesting roles he's ever chosen to do!) - though I've a feeling that the absence of that brilliant blue I'm so used to seeing whenever Cillian's eyes appear on screen (usually) is going to be keenly felt by me throughout the viewing! (when I get around to seeing this). Brown just isn't the same (lol I know I'm making a bit of a fuss about this! ;D )

I really can't wait for this film. It's not only got Cillian but one of my favourite young female actors- Ellen Page and the amazing Susan Sarandon! What a cast.... With such highly talented actors on board it's sure to be full of outstanding performances and from what i know about the plot, if handled and filmed well, it should be a very interesting movie! There's a small clip on Youtube from some Amarican news show talking about the fact that it's being filmed in such a small town in Iowa. You can se Cillian in the background but he's barely recognisable because the quality is pretty poor. It's a nice clip to watch anyway, imo at least. He does look so different! Someone on facebook said it best, in the photo of him looking out the window he looks a lot like Robert Carlyle! lol I couldn't place who he reminded me of but that was what I was thinking in my head! The brown eyes definitely do make more of a difference then I ever thought possible. The difference is shocking. To go from seeing his eyes brilliant icy blue to dark brown is a huge adjustment. I can not wait for this film! You can just tell by the photos how awkward and withdrawn his character is & that his acting is going to be phenomenal! I love how they aren't showing what his female personality looks like, that makes it even more intriguing! I wonder what the hold up is in announcing the release date!? So excited!

Razzthekid, many thanks for video ! The difference is shocking. To go from seeing his eyes brilliant icy blue to dark brown is a huge adjustment. And I was shocked not only brown eyes (I was ready for it, because I knew in advance), but in particular shocked me his thin lips!!!

Something I just noticed: Sally Menke is editing Pea[co]ck. This gives me a heck of a thrill. Sally is Quentin Tarantino's right-hand woman, the cutter on all his films, and she is a genius. The great teams of modern cinema: Tarantino and Menke, Martin Scorsese and his go-to editor, Thelma Schoonmaker.... Pea[co]ck is in very good hands!
