Though I've seen most of his movies I've never really looked at pics of him before, but now, seeing all these stills, I mean, the blue of his eyes is just unbelievable. I don't care if it's a trick of light or just great genes; if they look like that in person, I don't think I could keep track of a conversation with him. Or maybe, I haven't met many blue-eyed people around here.  |

At least not with THAT blue of eyes! I think it's funny I heard that the director of Batman Begins apparently thought his eyes were amazing too and tried to invent reasons for him to take off those glasses. lol Word on the street is they are just as blue in person if not more so.  And as if the insanely blue eyes weren't enough he's got those damn mile long eyelashes to really draw even more attention to them! Jeez! I don't think I could speak if he looked at me. I would be surprised if I could even stand. lol |

In fact, I know that if I were to ever run into him anywhere - unlikely as it is that that would ever happen lol - I know for sure that if I did attempt to have any kind of conversation with him (even if it was just a very short one) most likely the best I'd be able to manage would be a half formed stutter. No doubt he'd think I was a total fool. But I wouldn't be able to help it! |

Have you seen the clip on YouTube of Cillian arriving at the Empire Awards? Some girl says "love your hair" to him, and he says "thanks" - in the flattest, most disinterested tone possible. I would be devastated I never saw that! Jeez...I guess he doesn't exactly appreciate compliments from his fans then. You know, silly as the idea might sound, I was thinking about writing him a short fan mail - just to express my admiration about his work. But now I'm feeling somewhat put off the idea after reading about that. Much as I do adore the guys acting, and find him tremendously attractive - I'm not sure I'm willing to put the effort in if that's the typical way he tends to respond to compliments. Not that I'd personally come out with a comment like 'I love your hair.' But even so... |

Oh gost, emma, please don't let me put you off! Have a look at the clip and see what you think. Maybe he was having a bad day, and frankly, 'love your hair' is a pretty uninteresting comment! I'm so sorry to have upset you. Write to him, please. Aww don't worry Bestshot ;-) That's ok you haven't upset me! I was just a little taken aback that's all. I have to say though, that even before you said anything, I have seen other clips of him (though not that one) when he's not come across as being particularly enthusiastic at being talked to when he's been in interviews (not all of them, but some) as well as reading that the reason he likes living in London is because he tends not to be recognised and is left alone. So in all honesty, I was in two minds about writing anyway - even before you mentioned the clip. In the normal way of things it's hard enough to contact a celebrity/famous person as it is, but if you're dealing with one who really doesn't appreciate much attention from fans - or people in general - then of course that really narrows the chances down of the mail even reaching them in the first place - let alone them even taking the time to read it. It was really just as much to do with that, as what you said, that led to me having my doubts. But then maybe I am being a bit quick to jump to conclusions here. As you say, it could have been he was just having a bad day. And you are right that a comment such as 'love your hair' isn't exactly the most interesting of comments lol! Hmm, I may well still write. I will sleep on it for the time being, then make my mind up later me thinks! I will check that video clip out in the meantime though. Thanks for mentioning it. |

Okay... now I know the rumors are crap. LOL. ;D Anyway, re: contacting Cillian - you are braver than I if you do so, emma. LOL. I know the clip that's being discussed here, and it was a little disappointing to see (and hear) how completely unengaged Cillian was with that fan... of course, she did say about the stupidest thing she could have to him. 'I love your hair'? You are in front of someone that talented, and that is all you can come up with? Not that I don't understand nervous babbling when confronted face-to-face with someone that attractive, but jeez... I would have bitten my tongue till it bled before I would say something so inane to the man. I mean really, what would his response to that be? But yeah, his tone was so dead and just-this-side-of-irritated that I'm surprised the fan didn't burst into tears right there. While I adore Cillian to extreme levels, I have to admit that if I saw him in public, I would never dream of approaching him. That seems to be the way he likes it.
