Why is it so difficult imagining Jonathan having a heart ... especially when being reminded of the child he has lost? because of the way he was in Batman Begins ... im just having difficulty getting passed all of that, to me its almost as if the Jon in this story is different from the Jon in the movie.

maybe it´s difficult because we didn´t think about it yet that Jonathan could react like every other human do... this is actually what I also want to reach with my story.. to show a side of Jon Crane we don´t see in the movie, I want to look "behind the curtains" you know? Though he´s a baddie.. to me, he´s still human.. Aww .... Jonathan crying ... hmmm .. wow ... thats actually really hard to envison

Actually, we see (possible) scenes which are not visible in the movie, you know hat I mean? I´m giving an idea, what COULD happen in this scenes which are not in the movie.

Very true ... and I say one of the reasons we see him the way he is in the movie is to protect himself from being hurt ... by Rachel Dawes, by Falcone ... by Batman. He's got his shell up ... but look at who he's with here ... Alexandra who loves him. For the first time he's not with someone who's trying to hurt him but who says "I love you, I'm not going to jam a knife into your heart if you don't keep your shell up." That's why we're seeing his soft side here and that's why we're starting to see Jon getting in touch with his his feelings here he's been keeping bottled up for so long.

Don´t misunderstand me, beyond_beautiful: I really know what you mean and I´m really not "offended" or sth. that you´re kinda feeling strange about what actually happens in my story as the character of Jon is very "limited" in the movie and I´m going into wider range with my story, describing much more things of Jon Crane than we can see in the movie. And Azina, you´re absolutely right, what you´re written. We just should try to put ourselves into Jon´s position (and Alex´position, too of course- sometimes I wish, Alex would be in the movie, too ..) - there sth happening in their lives now, they didn´t get to know or they didn´t have for such a long time. Maybe we even could think about ourselves. I´m sure, everyone of us had been into a bad situation once, putting a shell to protect ourselves and suddenly sth positive happenes and we´re going like : "Oh!" - and then we put that shell down and change.. and that´s absolutely normal because we all are human! So, life is changing everyday and so do the people... (oops, do I sound like a philosoph now? LOL) I´m not saying, that Jon and Alex will now do an 180 degree turn (I´m still following the BB plot and we all know what´s happening in the movie) but maybe you´ve realized that now I´m actually writing "daywise" even "hourwise", so that´s why we get to know of so many tiny things, of so many details we don´t see in the movie and we all might loose kinda "overview" as I´m actually writing a novel now and I know I writing A LOT LOL But again: I´m just giving one of so many possibilies what could happen to Jon Crane or how could he be in general...it´s of course not the one and only possibility, you know? I always love to get feedback from you and I even want to encourage you to critizise if you see a need in it, so please don´t hesitate and keep on posting your thoughts and comments, okay? Again, thank you to ALL of you for your good comments and I hope you´re still like the story and you´ll keep on reading *thumbs up*

late reply, but here goes... It seemed to me this chapter was focused on the little girl, so I'll comment based on that. I agree with Azina that Adelle somehow possessed the soul of Jon and Alex's lost child. It was kind of made obvious by her striking resemblance to Alex. Given this, I understood why Jonathan cried. I thought it showed his sensitive side. It was a bit..... unfamiliar to me (can't think of the right word), but I don't think it was out of character for your story. One particular thing that stood out to me from this chapter which I thought was very interesting was something Adelle said to Jonathan. I might be reading too much into it, but this quote,
At first I thought she was talking about Alex and how, she does in fact love him, even though she hasn't necessarily expressed it the same way he has to her. But then I read the rest (what's highlighted in blue) and it seemed to me as if she's somehow relaying a message to him that their "child" will come back them ("you and your sweetheart"). That perhaps, they will have another child!!!?
Am I guessing this correctly or could it be that I finally took too much cold medication and my head's completely messed up? *shrugs* Either way... CB for this chapter. :-)

Your comment was very interesting, especially the one about the "blue sentance" Of course I can´t comment that now, otherwise I´d give too much away, so you´ll have to wait and see thanx for the CB ... (hm.. seems that I´ve lost some CB´s somehow.. well, anyway...)

hahahahahaha I know I know LOL but what else could I say? Otherwise I would take so much away and you people wouldn´t be interested in reading the story anymore .. yeah, seems that sth. strange is going on CB-wise as I was on 85 or 86 CBs last time.. but thanx for the CB though
